Purchased A Mr. Right novel Chapter 1016

Anthea looked at him nervously and guiltily. She then asked tentatively, "Uncle Chin?"

"Get off the car." Adam said in a low voice.

"Huh?" Anthea looked at him, a little dumbfounded.

She was just thinking about LGBT in her mind, and did not tell him anything about it.

Adam held the steering wheel with one hand. He frowned and urged her, "Get off the car and wait for me on the roadside!"

"..." Anthea mumbled.

Being stared at by his domineering eyes, she didn't dare to say anything else. She just unfastened her seat belt and jumped out of the car without a word.

The car door was closed, and the jeep drove forward. Anthea stood alone on the roadside, feeling that she was just like a discarded kitten. Her face was pitiful and disappointed.

"Humph... I'll definitely tell grandpa what happened!" She thought.

Just as Anthea wondered if she should take a taxi back to school, she found that the jeep did not go away. It turned around at the end of the street and stopped at a parking space on the roadside.

Then, Adam's tall and strong figure passed through the zebra line.

Adam walked back to her side and said, "Let's go!"

Anthea blinked her eyes in bewilderment.

Adam put the key into his trouser pocket. Although this was a two-way street, the right side of it was dotted with yellow lines. He could only park the jeep on the other side after turning around at the end of the street. See that that Anthea was standing there still, he frowned and added, "Aren't you hungry?"

After Anthea heard this, she found out that there was a restaurant of hand-pulled noodles near them.

She was stunned for a moment, and then became excited. Now, she had already forgotten that a short while ago she swore she would definitely complain to her grandfather against Adam. She followed behind him obsequiously like a kitten. "Uncle, wait for me!"

At this time of the day, there were still a lot of customers at the restaurant. The main hall on the first floor was particularly crowded. The waiter took the two of them to a table in the innermost corner.

Anthea sat down and immediately ordered a large bowl of beef noodles.

On the opposite side of the table, Adam was sitting with his long legs crossed. It seemed as if his sole purpose was to accompany Anthea, and he didn't want to eat anything. He lit a cigarette and placed the other hand on the dining table, tapping it rhythmically.

The waiter quickly served a large bowl of noodles to Anthea. It consisted of delicious ribs soup, handmade noodles, several slices of sauce beef, as well as chopped scallions, and coriander on top of them.

Anthea felt hungry and eagerly picked up the chopsticks. She asked politely, "Uncle, shall I eat my noodles now?"

Adam flicked the cigarette ash and glanced at her. This served as the answer.

Anthea immediately began to eat the noodles, but as she ate them, she also brought out the coriander.

"You don't eat coriander?" Adam suddenly asked.

"No, I don't like them!" Anthea shook her head and grinned. "It's okay to put coriander in the dish or soup, but I don't like to eat them!"

Anthea had been used to this habit since she was a child.

In less than ten minutes, Anthea finished eating the bowl of noodles.

This evening, at the birthday party of the Hsu family, she only ate two pieces of almond cakes and almost nothing else. She kept sitting still like a graceful pine tree, for fear that her uncle, Jayden Hsu, would come over and deliberately make trouble for her.

Now, she held up the bowl of noodles with both hands and drank all the soup. Her stomach was finally full.

Seeing that Anthea had put down her chopsticks, Adam got up and went to the counter to pay the bill, and she immediately followed up like a lovely little cat.

Because the jeep was parked on the opposite side of the street, Adam needed to cross the street before he could take the car.

Adam intended that she should wait for him on this side of the street, just as she had done before they went into the restaurant. However, Anthea had just finished a bowl of delicious noodles and felt grateful to him. For this reason, she decided to follow him to the zebra line.
