Purchased A Mr. Right novel Chapter 1021

In fact, Anthea had just arrived at the restaurant.

After class in the afternoon, students would have two hours as their spare time before the self-study class began at night. Usually, they were not allowed to go outside of the campus during this period, and their dinners were always eaten in the school canteen. This evening, Anthea had actually climbed over the wall in a remote corner and stealthily left the school to be able to dine out together with Adam.

She sent a message to Adam, saying that she wanted to treat him to a meal.

After all, Adam had done her such a big favor. Anthea thought she should express her gratitude to him. Fortunately, he didn't refuse her suggestion.

After Adam sat down on the opposite side, the waitress served the dishes one after another, and all of them were placed on the table in order. The restaurant was not big and it was near the school, and therefore the price of the food was very cheap. As Anthea didn't know what he liked to eat, she simply ordered half a serving of almost every type of food.

"Uncle, thank you very much for helping me again today. You're just my lucky star!" Anthea looked at him with sparkling eyes and said seriously.

"You're welcome." Adam replied in a low voice.

"You... Don't you think I'm a very troublesome girl?" Anthea bit her lips and pinched her own fingers under the table as she was slightly nervous.

"No, I won't." Adam shook his head.

Anthea blinked her eyes and asked, "Really?"

"Yes." Adam's lips twitched.

Seeing that Adam was in a good mood, Anthea's eyes became brighter, while her little face was almost shining. Her pink and tender lips curbed into a faint smile, revealing two dimples. It seemed that getting Adam's positive reply was something really worth being happy about.

Cigarette smoking was not banned in the restaurant, and some guests were smoking there. Adam also took out a cigarette and lit it.

He spat out a mouthful of smoke, and his throat felt a little itchy. Then, he coughed twice.

Seeing this, Anthea immediately asked, "Uncle, are you having a cold?"

"Well... It's not serious at all." Adam replied casually.

Anthea nodded and looked at the cigarette in his hand. "You'd better not smoke at all!"

When Adam heard this, he wanted to say that smoking was not that bad, but when she firmly looked straight at him, he succumbed and put out the burning cigarette in the ashtray.

While Anthea was throwing the beef into the boiling pot, she secretly peeped at Adam from time to time, to see whether the latter intended to smoke again or not.

When Adam was eating, he looked almost the same as usual, and he maintained a poker face all the time. It seemed as if his personal style was not smiling at all. He was a professional military officer. For this reason, while he was sitting in front of the dining table at this moment, he looked very imposing, and no sign of slackness or laziness could be observed in him..

In the eighteen years of Anthea's life, she had never met a man like him.

To be more specific, a little girl liked Anthea had never met a man like Adam.

Anthea swallowed the beef tripe in her mouth and stared at Adam's firm and resolute facial features for a while. She couldn't help but ask, "Uncle, can I ask you a question?"

Seeing that Anthea was serious, Adam nodded and said, "Go ahead." "Can you smile at me now?" Anthea asked from the bottom of her heart.

The so-called "Hell-king" in the army,

As the atmosphere became a little awkward, Anthea quickly changed the topic. "Uncle, don't you think the hotpot foods are very delicious? I like them very much. Ever since I transferred to Vaden High School, I have come here almost every week with my roommates! I really love it."

"Uh-huh." Adam said in a low voice.

In fact, he didn't like hotpot foods very much, and he seldom ate them. He simply felt that they're too complicated. If a great variety of foods were cooked in the hotpot, no matter how expensive they were, they would just become a great hotpot of mixed meal, and Adam didn't like them.

However, Anthea, who was sitting opposite to him, felt that the hotpot foods were just so delicious! From time to time, she would fan her mouth with her hand because the foods were hot and spicy. Her mouth was full of delicious beef, prawns, cabbage... and her hands were always busy moving for more of them.

What Anthea did made Adam felt hungry, and he held out his chopsticks more frequently.
