Purchased A Mr. Right novel Chapter 1060

As time went by, Anthea was looking forward to the arrival of the weekend every day.

Today was Friday. Tomorrow was Saturday. Early in the morning, Anthea came out of the canteen. On the way to the teaching building, she couldn't wait to take out her mobile phone.

After she dialed the number, she held her breath and waited anxiously.

Finally, Adam's low and deep voice rang through the call. Feeling a little nervous, she put the phone to the other side, "Hello, Adam, it's me!"

"Hi," Adam replied in a low voice.

Anthea licked her lower lip. Thinking of the faint alienation she felt from him when she met him at the Hsu family house the day before yesterday, she bit her lips and asked, "It's Saturday tomorrow. Will you come to pick me up after school?"

There was a moment of silence at the end of the call before Adam's indifferent voice rang, "I'm afraid I won't have the time this week. I've been quite busy lately."

'Busy again?'

When Anthea heard that, she stopped walking. She could not hide her disappointment and anxiety, "Aren we going to stop the class this weekend?"

"Yes," Adam replied. She paused for a while and continued in a low voice, "I've seen your maths ability. You're good at it. You will have no problem with applying for colleges."

"But..."

"If you have questions that you don't understand, you can send them to me. I'll solve them and send them back to you when I have time."

After Adam interrupted her, she clutched her fingers and said, "Adam, then even if we don't do the class, can we have a hot pot together? The food in the canteen hasn't been good. I'm longing for a hot pot!"

"Let's talk about it later," Adam said lightly, which sounded a little perfunctory. Before she could say something else, he had finished the call in a hurry, "I am busy, talk later."

Looking at the ended call, Anthea started to feel stifled.

Suddenly, she felt that the sense of alienation from Adam seemed to be stronger...

She walked into the teaching building with her mobile phone in her hand and went to the bathroom halfway. When she came out, two roommates of hers also came over. When they saw her, they said

hello and stood in front of the bathroom together.

"By the way, Anthea, the day after tomorrow is Lexandria's birthday, Rosie and I will go out to celebrate her birthday!"

Holly, who was standing beside her, took the initiative to say, "Don't worry. We won't go to a bar but only a KTV to sing. I booked a group purchase. It's quite cheap. We can sing for a few hours, and they will serve us fruits!"

Rosie also hurriedly asked her, "Anthea, you must come. Are you free the day after tomorrow?"

In their dormitory, everyone knew that Anthea had found a family tutor even she performed goof at school. They were all envious.

Thinking of the phone call she had with Adam just now, she said in a faint voice, "Well, I have time..."

"That's settled then!" Rosie and Holly did not notice her upset look and discussed excitedly, "I'll plan again. Let's gather some money to buy her a cake!"

"Okay," Anthea said in a muffled voice.

After washing their hands, the three of them left the bathroom and were ready to go back to class to study.

After they left, the door at the very back was pushed open. Shelby walked out gracefully, washing her hands in front of the pool and tidying her long black hair in front of the mirror, feeling good.

Around 10 p.m., Shelby was sitting by the bed in her pajama and flipping through a foreign latest edition of a popular magazine.
