Purchased A Mr. Right novel Chapter 1095

Adam held her small hand in his palm and caught her wrist with the other hand, examining it carefully.

While his finger with a gun cocoon raked her skin, Anthea got a slight electrical sensation.

She withdrew her hand in a panic and said with a slight blush on her cheeks, "It's okay. I'm much better now!"

Adam took out a lighter and lit the cigarette between his fingers.

Amid the lingering smoke, a rare hint of laziness emerged on his usually unsmiling face. With the camouflage clothing he was wearing, he looked like a crouching leopard hunting its prey.

Thinking of what he had done just now, Anthea felt puzzled and annoyed. "Adam, what were you doing just now? I was having a good talk with Declan. It's impolite to leave him like this!"

She was angry, her cheeks bulging.

She stared at him with her clear and bright eyes, her cheeks on her small face puffing up. What a cute little squirrel!

She stirred up a circle in his heart.

Adam puffed out a smoke ring and said slowly, "I've told you that he doesn't suit you."

Through the smoke, Anthea caught a faint trace of jealousy from his face.

Jealous?!

How was it possible?!

Anthea dropped this thought in an instant.

She resisted the urge to roll her eyes at him and said stiffly, "Whether he suits me or not is my business!"

"I am your uncle-in-law." Adam retorted lightly.

"..." Anthea pursed her lips.

Adam flicked the cigarette ash and continued, "I'm your elder, so you have to listen to me."

"..." Anthea retorted silently in her heart.

Yes, he was her uncle-in-law. As soon as he mentioned this, she lost the courage to argue with him.

Adam went on confidently and justly. "Do you remember it? I disapprove of you dating him!"

Anthea did not say a word.

Adam reproached in a deep voice, "Did you hear that?"

"Yes!" Anthea curled his lips.

She did not want to argue with him. Anyway, she had never dated Declan. So, she did not care about his orders at all!

With her hands clasped behind her back, Anthea muttered, "Uncle-in-law, may I go now?"

"Mm." Adam's lips curled up.

When he agreed, Anthea immediately turned around and left.

However, Adam, strong and tall, blocked her way to Declan. Anthea could only go back to the temporary shelter for medical workers first.

After taking two steps, she looked back.

Adam was still looking at her!

Unexpectedly, she gazed into his deep-set dark eyes.

His eyes with deep emotions were like whirlpools that could suck people's souls in.

Anthea's heart and soul trembled.

It seemed as if his eyes had burned her - she quickened her pace and ran far away.

The next morning, Anthea got up late. Fortunately, the medical team was not very busy these days. Few new patients had been sent here recently, so they only needed to take care of the previous patients.

Anthea came out of the tent with a washbasin in her hand. Before she finished yawning, she saw the tall and strong figure standing at the door.

"..."

Adam seemed to have waited for her for a long time - there were already a few cigarette butts beside his military boots.

He dropped the cigarette in his hand on the ground, stubbed out it, and walked up to her. "You are awake."

Anthea was stunned.

Last night, she had a dream about him. It was something that had not happened before.
