Purchased A Mr. Right novel Chapter 1098

Adam grabbed Anthea's hand and strode to the front of a military tent.

Almost everyone had gone to have the hot pot, so few people were here. Under the silver moonlight, all was quiet at this place.

Adam was tall. When he walked quickly, Anthea had to trot to keep up with him.

When he stopped, Anthea stumbled along and almost hit his broad back.

Before she could steady herself, Adam suddenly turned her around and pushed her against the military tent. Then he came closer to her, his arm on the side of her face.

Was he going to kiss her?

They were so close to each other that they could see each other's reflection in their eyes.

Adam was tall and strong with hard muscles hidden underneath his camouflage clothing. He easily brought her under his control, his shadow over her. At this time, Anthea appeared as fragile as a little lamb caught by a cheetah.

His black eyes narrowed, revealing a sharp expression and gazing at her with deep feeling.

Anthea held her breathe.

She was scared and gathered up the courage to question him. 'Adam, what are you doing?"

"I told you that you should not drink wine, but why didn't you listen to me?" Adam's voice was deep.

"But I didn't drink much!" Anthea was stubborn.

She retorted with a guilty conscience. As the effects of the wine gradually came, she found it hard to keep her feet. Fortunately, he pressed her down on the tent so she did not stumble or fall.

They remained silent.

They silently confronted each other like two statues.

Adam gazed deep into her eyes.

His black eyes were so penetrating, especially when they fixed on her. She felt he could see her through.

Anthea soon could not stand it anymore. She bit her lips and asked, "Can you let me go?"

Adam did not move.

"Let me go!" Anthea was a little angry.

She tried to push him away, but he stayed perfectly still. Instead, her fingertips trembled as she touched his burning chest.

She tried her best to stay calm, gritted her teeth, and said, "You pulled me out in front of so many people. What would they think of us? Declan must be very

embarrassed. Please, I have to go back!"

When Adam heard her polite tone of voice, his face suddenly clouded as if he was going to get angry at anytime.

What would she do when going back?

Was she going to finish drinking the cross-cupped wine with Declan?

Adam felt his internal organs were burning with jealousy.

Every time his Adam's apple bobbed, he felt it burning hot. He became so jealous that he was on the verge of losing his cool.

He was very still and silent. Seeing him like this, Anthea glared at him and said, "Did you hear what I said? Could you let me go first if you do? I..."

Her words came to an abrupt end.

Adam suddenly kissed her.

"Mm!"

She could only utter a sound, and her eyes widened.

Adam pinched her chin with her hand, and his thin lips covered hers.

It was not a gentle kiss but a hungry one, bringing her a little pain. He was punishing her.

Anthea felt thrilled as if she had got an electric shock.

The limp and numb feeling rose from her feet to her head. Maybe it was because of the wine, she felt dizzy and her ears buzzing.

The world seemed to be quiet down.

They were left alone, kissing each other.

Anthea, struck dumb, forgot to struggle and resist. Perhaps, she did not want to push him away at all.

An aura of masculine from Adam enveloped her, which almost suffocated her. She opened her eyes wide, looking into his dark eyes that were gazing at her.
