Purchased A Mr. Right novel Chapter 1166

Adam was the eldest son of the Chin Family and a soldier who was the most mature and steady.

"He can't have done such a ridiculous thing, can he?" Meadow thought to herself.

As Meadow pondered, she couldn't help but look at Anthea a few more times, feeling very nervous.

"Cough!" Bellamy reminded Meadow.

Only then did Meadow realize that she stared at Anthea for so long that Anthea couldn't even raise her head. She quickly restrained herself and said with a smile, "Anthea, what do you do?"

"I'm a student," Anthea explained.

Holding the newspaper, Bellamy's hand froze.

Meadow looked a bit uneasy. She asked tentatively, "How old are you?"

Anthea replied respectfully, "I am 19 years old, a sophomore at the Medical University!"

Bellamy frowned.

However, Meadow felt relieved. An 18-year-old girl was already an adult!

Although the Chin Family had a high status, Meadow was not snobbish. She didn't require Adam to find someone as wealthy, let alone now he was widowed. As long as Adam's girlfriend was not underage, Meadow would feel content.

Just now, when Meadow saw Adam leading a young girl into the house, her heart trembled.

"You're studying medicine. That is excellent. A good match with Adam!" Meadow smiled more happily and asked casually, "Anthea, where are you from? Who else is in your family? How did you meet Adam? How long have you been together?"

Anthea's palms were slightly sweaty. She replied cutely and cautiously, "My family lives in the town, and I am the only daughter. My parents are ordinary state-owned employees. Adam and I met each other on a mission he took. We have been together for two months."

Anthea beat around the bush, answering selectively.

She chose to hide her real identity because if Bellamy and Meadow found out her true relation with Adam, they would drive her out!

Meadow raised her eyebrows when she heard Anthea's last word. Two months was the passionate period of love!

Adam chimed in timely, "It's National Day. She is on holiday now."

By saying so, Adam helped Meadow relieve her tension and indirectly explained why he went to the hotel with Anthea to get a room.

Meadow immediately said as soon as she heard that, "Why did you go to a hotel? Our home is spacious! Simon is studying abroad, and Wilson is away for business. Their rooms are empty, and there are so many guest rooms. Stay at home with Anthea!"

"Okay," Adam nodded.

Anthea lowered her face in embarrassment.

Anthea sat down properly after she entered the house, behaving very well. Therefore, Meadow found Anthea well-educated and loveable, feeling satisfied although she learned that Anthea was a child from an ordinary family.

Disregarding the warning look in Bellamy's eyes, Meadow stood up and sat next to Anthea. She couldn't help reaching out her hand to touched Anthea's hair and skin, "Your hair looks so smooth! And your skin is so fair!"

"..." Anthea felt embarrassed.

Meadow exclaimed enviously, "How nice to be young!"

Adam raised his hand at the edge of his mouth, feeling speechless.

It was getting late. Meadow offered to take Anthea and Adam upstairs and arranged for Anthea to stay in Adam's room.
