Purchased A Mr. Right novel Chapter 1172

Anthea heard the sounds of Adam walking in his military boots.

She remembered the call from Carter.

Carter told her that the soldiers had no legal holiday leave at all. Therefore, after Adam had taken so many days off, he must be much busier when he went back.

Anthea felt distressed for Adam.

She didn't want him to wear himself out and to worry about her. She changed the topic into a relaxing one, "I'm wearing a miniskirt today."

As expected, Adam didn't reply.

Although Anthea couldn't see Adam's face, she guessed that he frowned. She laughed out loud and said, "I was just kidding. Grandpa bought it for me, and I chose a long dress!"

"Anthea, you're good," Adam said lovingly.

Anthea bit the corner of her mouth lightly and narrowed her eyes slightly as if Adam was caressing her head.

After they chatted for a while on the phone, Adam was urged to attend a meeting by someone.

Holding the phone, Anthea felt much better.

When she saw the floor-to-ceiling mirror on the side, she ran over, took a full-body photo of herself before the mirror, and sent it to Adam.

Then she put the phone back in her handbag and stopped flirting with Adam. Then she went to the bathroom before going back to the banquet.

The restroom on the first floor was unisex.

Anthea looked at the sign. The door was closed.

As soon as Anthea touched the door handle, a low female voice came from inside, sounding as if she was very uncomfortable.

Anthea couldn't help frowning.

Assuming that something went wrong in the restroom, she pushed the door open and saw a beautiful red brick wall where a man was forcing a woman against the wall.

The man was wearing a dark grey suit, looking tall and straight. Although Anthea could only see half of his face, she could tell that he was handsome. He cornered the woman with one hand in the corner of the wall with a dissolute smile.

However, the woman in his arms was even more active and enthusiastic than him.

She kept on clinging to him as if she couldn't wait to seduce him with all her skills, with her restless hands fiddling with his belt and her eyes looking seductive, "Young Master Chiang. If you don't believe me, you can touch..."

"So impatient," the man chuckled.

The man did not object or move, so the woman tried harder.

Anthea didn't expect that she would break into such an affair. Feeling panicked, she moved the doorknob and made a sound.

As the man and the woman looked over, Anthea said with her face flushed, "Oh, I'm sorry!"

Anthea quickly closed the door and retreated. Not wanting to go to the bathroom anymore, she immediately ran away.

"That was so wild!" Anthea thought to herself.

"Hooking up openly in the restroom..."

Anthea covered her face with both hands and walked back to the backyard while shaking her head and complaining.

The birthday banquet was still in full swing as celebrities were talking and greeting each other.

Master Hsu was worried that Anthea would feel bored, so he did not keep her around but let her walk around.

Anthea found a quiet place with fewer people. It was not far from the artificial river. Only a few wisps of sunset glow covered the river, which looked precious. The air was damp and cool.

The river water was fast, so she didn't get too close to it.

Anthea was about to go to a nearby pavilion to rest when she met a little boy about six or seven years old with a mushroom haircut trotting lively to the river.

When she saw that, she couldn't help but worry, feeling that it was dangerous for the boy to play by the river.

But seeing that a middle-aged woman was looking after the little boy, plus there was a guardrail by the river, Anthea assumed that no danger would happen.

Anthea sat on a stone bench.
