An army-green jeep was parked on the side of the road. Adam stood in front of the jeep with his tall and strong body in camouflaged training clothes. His belt was fastened, showing the outline of his body. As usual, he was wearing a pair of black military boots.
Under the night sky, he looked like a divinity.
There were a lot of young and beautiful girls coming out of KTV. Their eyes were caught by him, but they didn't dare to approach him because of his cold eyes and powerful aura. They just looked at him from a distance.
His face was handsome and hard, but his black eyes were as calm as a dark pond, hiding sharp spearhead.
His expressionless face seemed to be covered with snow accumulated for thousands of years. But when his eyes caught the sight of his girl, the snow vanished, and even the corners of his mouth were lifted into a smile.
Anthea couldn't believe it and rubbed his eyes again.
Then, she smiled, smiled so hard that the corners of her mouth were almost lifted to her ears.
Anthea dashed towards him.
Although he was wearing military uniform, she didn't care about the impact. She rushed straight to hug him.
Anthea seemed to have hugged the whole world and looked at him with blinking eyes. "Oh my god, am I dreaming?"
"No." Adam smiled faintly.
Anthea asked, "When did you come back? How long have you been waiting?"
"Not long." Adam replied.
At that time during the phone call in the evening, he didn't say anything and kept it a secret. He deliberately hid it from her!
Anthea also understood why Leonardo suddenly shouted that the party was over.
She was so excited that she jumped up and down in his arms, "This is the best birthday gift!"
She didn't expect his appearance, but he was here!
Adam hugged her tightly, and then opened the car door. The army green jeep was driving to the family dormitory building in the military region, and the two returned home.
Anthea was like a happy bird.
When they got home from the underground parking lot elevator, she couldn't help curling her eyes.
Adam put the key of the car on the shoe cabinet. After entering the door, he took off his military uniform and camouflage clothing inside, only wearing an army green long-sleeved shirt. Then the first thing he did was to enter the kitchen.
Anthea's face was full of doubts, "Adam?"
"On birthday you will have to eat birthday noodles. I'll make it for you." Adam curled his lips. He raised his hand and placed it on her head, rubbing gently.
Anthea narrowed her eyes.
The temperature of his palm went down from her scalp. She enjoyed it very much. He should be the only one who could do such a thing!
Adam was not just saying. He had already rolled up his sleeves and put on an apron.
Burning water and kneaded flour.
He was in a mighty military uniform, standing in front of the small stove with a serious look as if he was not holding dough maker but sword or axe, and his every movement was full of masculinity of a man.
Anthea leaned against the refrigerator, staring at his broad back without even a blink.
The flour was made into dough. Looking from the back, his back muscles burst out as he exerted his strength. His muscles were as hard as iron.
Adam was quick and agile. Soon, he flattened the doughs and cut them into noodles.
Under the light, his short black hair made him looked vigorous. The lines on his side face were particularly handsome, but there was also a trace of tiredness in his eyes and brows. On his body, the hardship of long journey was still obvious.
Anthea guessed that he still made phone call with her at around four o'clock in the afternoon.
He must have just come out of the army at that time and was deliberately mystifying the situation, and then took a plane to rush back to give her a surprise.
Anthea had been immersed in the joy of her sweetheart's return. At this time, he thought of that and asked, "Why did you suddenly come back? Is it holiday?"
"No." Adam shook his head.
"Then you are..." Anthea was surprised.
