Purchased A Mr. Right novel Chapter 1209

At eleven o'clock in the morning, the sun was shining, and the temperature was still warm.

In the Hsu family, Old Master Hsu's bedroom was the best one in terms of natural lighting. The sun shone brightly on the floor through the wholecolored window curtains.

Master Hsu drank the tea, but the wrinkles on his face seemed to have tightened. He then put down the teacup in his hand and said anxiously, "Anthea, why didn't you tell me that you had been injured!"

Anthea smiled. "Grandpa, I didn't want you to worry about me!"

After the plaster was removed, she wanted to visit her grandfather.

It would soon be the Lunar New Year. However, she couldn't spend the New Year's Eve with Master Hsu because of Adam, and therefore she came in advance to visit the old man.

Originally, she didn't want to tell the Old Master about her injuries. But when the servant came in to serve them tea, Anthea picked up the teacups from the tray, and the servant stumbled because of carelessness. Anthea supported the servant with her arms and, during the process, Master Hsu noticed that Anthea's movement was somewhat strange and unnatural. He then asked her what had happened.

"Am I not worried now?" The Old Master was somewhat worried, but he was more worried about her at the same time. He looked at her left leg. "How is it now? Is everything okay? What did the doctor say?"

"It's all right! Look... The plaster had been removed and it looks good. The doctor said that I was young and my recovery was fast! If you don't believe me, I'll dance for you now!" Anthea said with a smile.

Seeing that she was about to stand up and dance, the Old Master berated her, "Stop! Just have a good rest."

Anthea revealed two dimples to the old man.

Master Hsu felt happy again. He took her hand with his old and warm hands. "Anthea, why don't you move to my house? There are many servants here, and they can surely take good care of you!"

"No need, grandpa!" Anthea immediately shook her head.

Although Master Hsu wanted to do so, he clearly knew that if he really let Anthea move to this house, she might be wronged by someone who looked down upon her. For this reason, he didn't insist on inviting her. He then asked, "Where do you live if it's winter vacation now?"

Anthea explained, "I'm currently living in a female classmate's house, which she rented together with someone else. Her roommate had gone back to her hometown for the Lunar New Year, and therefore I'm accompanying her now!"

Master Hsu nodded with relief, and then repeated, "It will take at least three months to heal your bones. Anthea, you must be careful during this period, okay?"

"I know, grandpa!" Anthea smiled.

Master Hsu pulled her up and said, "Let's go downstairs and ask the servants to cook some bone soup!"

The grandfather and granddaughter walked down the stairs. When they were about to walk down the last step, a servant came to report, "Old Master, Mr. Adam Chin is here!"

"Adam is coming?" The Old Master was very happy to hearthat.

Anthea, who was holding the Old Master's arm beside him, lowered her eyelashes shyly.

"I haven't expected him to come so fast!"

Originally, they had planned that Anthea would go to the Hsu family first, and Adam would come over in

the afternoon...

This was the first time the two of them had appeared together at the Hsu family since they had become secret lovers.

Soon footsteps could be heard from the hallway. Adam's coat was placed on his elbow, and he was wearing a neat camouflage suit, which made him look tall and strong, giving others the impression of a strong and powerful military officer.

Anthea looked at her secret lover almost obssesively.

She quickly restrained her own expression so as not to reveal any clues to the others.

Adam had walked up to them and nodded. "Dad."

Master Hsu was surprised to see his son-in-law coming to his house. His smile deepened. "Adam, when did you come back from the army?"

"It's been a few days." Adam replied calmly.
