Emerson took the two of them to the golf course.
The north was different from the south in weather and lifestyles. The golf court was closed in winter and could only be described as an indoor golf course. Through the glass curtains, they could see endless green grass. The roof was in a semi-open form, and they could have a wide view inside the golf course.
Emerson reached out his hand. "There's a locker room ahead, and you can find some assistants inside it. Your clothes have already been prepared!"
"Okay!" Anthea nodded.
The men's and women's locker rooms were next to each other on both sides.
Adam and Emerson hardly talked to each other except for the moment when they entered the gate. Their expressions did not change much, and there was no sign that they would fight with each other because of Anthea, who then secretly breathed a sigh of relief.
Just as she and Adam were about to enter the locker room and change their clothes, Emerson called out to them.
"Wait a minute, little girl. I have something else for you!"
The assistant who had been ordered by him had come back, with a white rectangular box in her hand and a pink bowknot on the box.
Emerson took the box and handed it over to Anthea.
Anthea asked, "What is this?"
Emerson said casually, "Open it and you'll know!"
Anthea didn't know what he was up to. She opened the box and saw that there was a skirt lying inside it. It seemed to be of a famous brand, and the texture was very good. It was grass green and looked very youthful.
"..." Anthea was confused and asked Emerson, "Young Master Chiang, what does this mean?"
"A gift for you... a compensation." Emerson said.
"Ah?" Anthea looked at him in bewilderment.
Emerson explained slowly, "Anthea, the first time we met, you torn down your skirt to save me. At that time, I saw that your beautiful legs were naked. I felt sorry for that and had always wanted to find a chance to compensate you with a new skirt! How is it? Do you like the style?"
Anthea's mind went blank immediately. "D*mn it... What a mess!" She thought.
Anthea looked at her side in a panic. Adam's face had already turned black.
She had indeed told Adam the process of how she became acquainted with Emerson, but she didn't tell him the details of how she saved Emerson, that she had to torn down her skirt to bandage his wound at that time...
Anthea clearly knew Adam's sense of possessiveness. He was the only person in the world who could see Anthea's naked beautiful legs!
Emerson acted as if he didn't see it, and he continued slowly, "But then again, Anthea, you saved my life. I think I belong to you now, body and soul!"
"!!!" Anthea's eyes widened.
She almost wanted to rush over and covered Emerson's super-big mouth.
"How can your narration be so ambiguous and erotic?" Anthea thought.
She just bandaged his wound!
She did not dare to look at Adam's face now.
"I was just kidding!" Emerson laughed in a low voice, and his expression deserved many slaps on his face.
Anthea was stunned by this thick-faced and so-called humorous man.
"You can change your clothes first. I'll wait for you in the court!" After saying that, Emerson left with a harmless look.
As soon as he disappeared, Anthea immediately rushed to Adam and said, "Oh... Adam, let me explain it to you properly!"
"I'm waiting." Adam's thin lips tightened.
"I was wronged!" Anthea shouted tearfully. "Don't listen to Emerson's nonsense. I was doing that to save his life! Don't forget I am a medical student. I will never abandon him when I saw that he was endangered. At that time, a little artery in his leg was cut by a sharp stone in the river. He was bleeding appallingly. There was no other way to rescue him. I could only tear down my skirt and bind him up!"
Hearing that her skirt had indeed been torn down, Adam's face darkened.
Anthea quickly raised her little hand and emphasized. "I just tore down part of my skirt. My legs weren't completely naked. Only my calves were naked! I was wearing a long skirt that day... Do you still remember? I also had taken a picture and send it to you!"
