Purchased A Mr. Right novel Chapter 1232

Anthea knew very little about German.

What she said at the banquet was almost all she knew about German, and she really couldn't understand any word the boy said in the ward.

"Nothing? What do you mean?" Anthea pressed.

Adam was totally speechless now.

Ich—werde—sie—heiraten.

This sentence meant that he wanted to marry her.

That boy even dreamed of getting married. And his target was Anthea, which indeed pissed Adam off, even though he was just a child at the age of seven.

He was so young, but he was acting like a playboy!

At the thought of this, Adam went furious and there was a malicious look in his eyes.

Looking at Anthea’s confused eyes, he said perfunctorily, "He meant to thank you."

"Really?" Anthea frowned.

"Yes." Adam kept his face blank.

Although Anthea felt that something was wrong, she still nodded and thought that Adam's reply made sense.

She looked back in the direction of the hospital building, still feeling proud in her heart, and said expectantly, "Adam, shall we visit the child again tomorrow?"

A doctor always cared about the patients. Anthea gradually realized this and hoped to seethe little boy regain his vitality.

"No!" Adam's voice was gloomy.

Anthea looked at his dark face in confusion.

"What is his problem?" She wondered.

The military green jeep ran away in the night.

There was a black car parked in front of the hospital. Bellamy and his wife, Meadow, were sitting in it.

From the rearview mirror, they watched as Adam and Anthea walked to the parking lot to get the car hand in hand. Even though they were too far away from them and could not hear the conversation or see their expressions clearly, they could still feel the affection between their son and Anthea.

Meadow poked the husband next to her. "Stop watching. They have already gone!"

Bellamy slowly withdrew his gaze.

Meadow said, "Honey, it's all thanks to Anthea tonight. You really have given her a hard time and even shouted loudly to drive her out! If she hadn't been smart and persistent and made first aid measures for Hank's son, no one knew what would happen to that boy! Even Hank has praised her. You always said that she was too young to be Adam's girlfriend before. I guess you should have changed your mind now, right?"

Bellamy frowned, but did not say a word.

He recalled the scene at the banquet. Indeed, Anthea's performance made him look at her with new eyes, and even his prejudice was reduced. He had to admit that she was at least not a girl who knew nothing about the world.

Meadow continued, "From now on, just don't mess up with them!"

Bellamy was not glad to be reprimanded by his wife and grunted coldly. "I didn't say I agreed to accept her!"

"Okay, okay!"

Meadow rolled her eyes, waiting to see how long her husband's pretense of dislike for Anthea could last.

In the evening, the sky was ablaze.

The army green jeep stopped in front of the hospital building. Adam, dressed in a black leather coat, sat in the driver's seat. He took out a cigarette box from the storage compartment and lit a cigarette.

White smoke curled up from the half-opened window. Although there was no expression on his face, he was very patient.

On the way here, Anthea had sent him a message, saying that she might be a little later than usual and let him wait for her for a moment.

Naturally, Adam had no problem with that.
