Purchased A Mr. Right novel Chapter 1259

Bang!

Adam smacked the table hard.

The entire wooden table shook and buzzed, but it wasn't enough to express how much joy Adam was feeling.

Adam looked out of the window at the bright afternoon sun. He almost wanted to open the window and jump out from the third floor to tell the whole world that he was going to be a father!

"Anthea is pregnant!" Adam blurted out.

"I am going to be a father. Anthea is pregnant!"

"We are going to have a baby!"

Carter was as excited as Adam, clapping his hands, "Captain Chin, congratulations! It is great news! You're going to be a father!"

Adam put his hands on the edge of the table with his eyebrows raised.

Carter thought for a while and said, "Captain Chin, did Anthea break up with you because of her pregnancy? Anthea is young, and she's still at school. Maybe Anthea isn't ready to be a mother yet. Therefore, after she realized that she was pregnant, she must have been very nervous. That's why she vented her anger on you. You are the father!"

"And my mother told me that women's moods would be unstable after they are pregnant. They often get angry for no reason. When my mom was pregnant with me, she wanted to divorce my father almost a hundred times!"

"Would the pregnancy be the reason?" Adam wondered.

In the beginning, Adam thought it was because of Master Hsu's death that Anthea was so desperate and emotional that she lost her temper and broke up with him. But after hearing what Carter said, he thought his words seemed to make sense.

No matter what, Adam could not calm down.

He felt more and more excited.

Adam said happily, "Carter, help me to take a leave from the leading cadre. I'm going back now!"

He grabbed the car keys and ran out of the office.

Adam almost drove at the highest speed, rushing back.

"Baby, baby."

Adam kept repeating in his mind.

Adam had thought about having a baby with Anthea but never thought of having it now, feeling that

Anthea was still young and had not completed her studies. Knowing that Anthea was pregnant, Adam thought that it was like a gift from heaven. He was so excited that he was at a loss for words. He had even begun to arrange things for Anthea in his mind.

"She is pregnant, so she can't continue to attend classes. She needs to take a suspension of schooling."

"The apartment needs to be refurbished. The floor tiles need to be changed into the anti-slips ones, and we need to hire a nanny."

By the time Adam entered the city, the sky had already turned dark.

On the way, Adam noticed a baby shop. He hurriedly stepped on the brakes and stopped at the roadside.

Then Adam walked into it.

The store was with bright lights. There was a carpet on the floor, and the products on the display shelves looked adorable.

The shopping guide greeted Adam warmly. She was respectful when she saw him in the military uniform. But she was also a little shy because of his handsome appearance. She asked, "Mister, what can I do for you?"

"I want to buy something," Adam added, "It's for my baby."

"How old is the baby? A boy or a girl?" The shopping guide asked.

"It's not born yet," Adam was excited.

The shopping guide understood and smiled, "So it is for the soon-to-born baby. Mister, please come with me. I will recommend it to you!"

Adam had never entered a baby shop. Everything was new and novel.

The shopping guide helped him pick out a few things that a newborn baby would need. The basket was full of soft-colored products. Adam touched them carefully for fear of damaging them.

When he was paying the bill at the cashier, he saw a bookshelf at the side and asked, "Does a pregnant woman need to read these books?"

"Yes! They are about fetal education. And some of them are for fathers to read so that they can take care of the pregnant women better!" The shopping guide replied.

Adam reached out to the bookshelf and grabbed one book, two books, three books...

Each book had a beautiful baby picture as its cover. However, looking at the pictures, Adam felt that his child with Anthea would look prettier because Anthea was so beautiful.

Adam bought a lot of books.

Adam knew it was hard for a woman to be pregnant. Therefore, he planned to read the books with more words and let Anthea read the others with more pictures so she wouldn't be too tired.
