It was the weekend, Anthea's rest days.
In the morning, she came out of the apartment building.
Since she did not have to rush to the hospital, she walked briskly down the street. When she came out, she saw the silver-gray car parked there.
Eric, who had deliberately dressed up, was waiting in front of the car. He wore a pair of shiny leather shoes and looked very energetic in his casual clothes when waving to her. "Anthea!"
Last time, Eric called, saying that he wanted to go on a date with her on weekends.
As soon as Anthea approached, Eric leaned over and took out a bunch of flowers from the car.
Red rose again! They represented his enthusiasm for her.
Anthea thanked him, took the flowers, and asked, "Eric, why would you give me another bunch of flowers?"
Eric laughed and said, "We're still getting to know each other. I am a man, so I certainly have to act well to promote our relationship!"
Anthea smiled lightly.
He got in the car after her and drove slowly out of the apartment.
On the way, Anthea's cell phone rang, and a steady voice came from the phone. "Hello, Miss Lee! I am Lawyer Zurn from the lawyer firm!"
"Hello, Mr. Zurn!" she greeted him.
Mr. Zurn continued, "Miss Lee, have you returned? I'm calling you because of your inheritance under a will!"
"Six years ago, Master Hsu passed away in a car accident. Before that, he had made a will and left you some of his assets, but you went out of the country at that time. You haven't yet signed it! I just want to remind you to contact me if you have time to do it. We can finish this matter soon as possible!"
Although they had not met before, Anthea knew him.
They had talked on the phone before, but she was abroad at that time. So, the matter about the will had been delayed for years.
In fact, Master Hsu had been considering for her future.
He had announced her identity as one family member and added her to the Hsu family's genealogy. All of this done by him was to make sure that she could get her share in the will.
Her grandpa was sleeping his long sleep in his grave under the ground. Thinking of him, Anthea felt like crying, and she whispered, "Okay, I know!"
After hanging up the phone, she lowered the window a little.
The wind outside blew in, which lifted the tightness of her chest.
Anthea closed the window and found that Eric was frowning. She was puzzled. "What's wrong?"
Eric, his hands on the steering wheel, glanced at the rearview mirror from time to time. He said in a low voice, "There's a jeep behind us. It seems to have followed us all the way from the apartment!"
Anthea pursed her lips.
A jeep?!
Adam had been driving a jeep recently.
With this thought, she looked up at the rearview mirror and saw a familiar military green jeep, following them unhurriedly.
Eric looked a little nervous and analyzed this situation in bewilderment, "It's a car from the army. Both you and I are law-abiding citizens and haven't committed any crimes. Why is it going after us? Oh, I guess I'm thinking too much about it. Perhaps, it's just a coincidence!"
Anthea frowned slightly.
40 minutes later, they came to a golf course.
Unlike the previous two dates in a hurry, Eric was well prepared this time. He intended to make today an unforgettable date with her. After playing golf in the morning, they could go on doing some more relaxed things.
As soon as they went in, a waiter came and led them to the locker room.
This golf course provided customers with clothes according to their size.
