Purchased A Mr. Right novel Chapter 1324

Jayden saw that the car had a military license plate. He hesitated for a moment, and then opened the door and got into the car.

The woman sitting in the driver's seat was unusual. Dressed in a military uniform, she looked dashing and smart.

Jayden didn't dare to look down upon this female driver. He opened his mouth and unexpectedly pulled his wound. He took a deep breath in pain and asked, "Miss, who are you? Do we know each other?"

Amelie Celestin smiled faintly. "It doesn't matter whether we know each other or not. What matters is that we can be friends!"

"Friend?" Jayden was puzzled.

Amelie said slowly, "Haven't you heard the saying that 'The enemy of my enemy is my friend', Young Master Hsu?"

Jayden looked at her with suspicion. "What do you mean?"

Amelie noticed his swollen face. "Were you injured? Does it hurt?"

Jayden's face darkened.

It hurt when he spoke. It seemed as if his teeth might drop down one after another at any time.

Jayden realized that Amelie might have seen him beaten by Adam just now from afar. He felt that this was very disgraceful for a man like him. However, he could do nothing about it. He was seriously lagging behind Adam in terms of physical strength. After all, Adam was a professional military officer.

Amelie added with a faint smile, "The pain on your face can't compare with your heartache, right? You also have lost a lot of properties!"

How could Jayden's heart not ache!

He clenched his fists in anger.

Amelie's words were just like a sharp sword that pierced into his heart. When Jayden thought of how he had just signed the document and handed over a large part of the properties and wealth of the Hsu family to Anthea, he felt heartbroken!

His heart was full of resentment. He had forgotten that the relevant properties and wealth didn't belong to him at all. They were passed down from Master Hsu to his granddaughter according to the old man's will. For the past six years, these properties and wealth were illegally occupied by Jayden and his mother. Now he had just given them back to Anthea!

"Do you hate the two of them very much?" After Amelie asked, she saw that Jayden's fists clenched tighter, and the blue veins on his neck were bulging. The answer was clear.

She squinted her beautiful eyes, and there was a hideous look in them.

Amelie's tone was just like the hiss of a poisonous snake coiling in the darkness, and the hatred in her heart had piled up for a long time. She talked of Anthea and Adam in extreme resentment. "Do you want to see both of them be ruined? If you want, just do as I say!"

Jayden immediately asked, "What shall I do?"

Amelie said, "There'll be a banquet next Friday..."

Friday came in a twinkling of a eye.

After Anthea got off work, she hastily changed her clothes.

In the morning, she brought her dresses for the banquet with her before she went to work. She didn't want to go back home to change the clothes, which would cost her a lot of time. After all, the old chief cadre and his wife had invited her sincerely. If she was late, it would be very unpolite.

After changing into the skirt, she put on a blouse outside, which would not be too eye-catching.

When Anthea came out of the hospital building, she saw her friend, Golden Leonardo.

He was leaning against a sports car and dressed more like a good-for-nothing than usual. He was wearing a dark gray suit, while his hair had been combed neatly with a lot of hair spray. He looked particularly spirited today.

Anthea was surprised. "Golden Leonardo, why are you dressed like this? Are you going to attend the banquet too?"

Leonardo nodded. "My father will hold a birthday party tonight. As his only child, will it be okay if I don't dress well?"

"Then why did you come here?" Anthea was confused.

Leonardo said impatiently, "It's all my mother's fault. She asked me to pick up somebody to the party! The daughter of one of the most distinguished guests of the party is working in this hospital. She's coming tonight. My mother asked me to be her driver!"

As soon as he finished speaking, a beautiful figure ran over.

After confirming the license plate in front of the headstock, Mila went forward and tentatively asked, "Young Master Schain?"

Leonardo realized that Mila was the girl he had to pick up. "You are the daughter of the Jillson family?"

"Yes..." Mila nodded.

Anthea, who was next to Mila, widened her eyes in surprise.

She hadn't expected that Mila would turn out to be from a rich and powerful family. She didn't look like one of those silver-spoon kids at all. She tended to dress simply, just like an ordinary college graduate. She was also a gentle and moderate girl.

With such a well-off family background, Mila came to serve as an intern in the hospital and worked hard every day. It was evident that she was a good girl.
