Anthea froze there. And then tears began falling down her cheeks.
"Why are you yelling?"
She met Adam at the age of 18 and had been on and off with him for so many years. When they were dating before, she had irritated him too, but this was the first time she heard him yelling so fiercely.
It was rare for a man like him who was under militarized management all year round to lose temper like this.
Adam was speechless.
Anthea continued to accuse, "You scared me!"
Adam remained silent.
However, seeing that she stared at him with resentment, Adam loosened the grasp and held her tightly in his arms.
"I'm sorry." He also realized that he had lost control just now. He kissed her soft hair and explained, "I'm just afraid that you will disappear for another six years. Anthea, I can wait, but I can't afford to waste time."
Even if he had to wait for a lifetime, he would wait.
However, he was already in his thirties. He didn't want to waste any more time and wanted to be with her every minute and second. If they were separated for another six years like before, he would definitely go crazy!
Anthea took the opportunity to make fun of him. "Are you saying that you're old?"
"Yes." Adam grimaced and nodded in agreement. "I'm old indeed."
Putting aside their status and relationship, just in terms of age, there was a whole nine years gap between them. Anthea was a bit too young for Adam.
Anthea almost laughed out loud, with tears still on her eyelashes.

"Is this a problem for you?" Adam asked.
Anthea shook her head without hesitation. "Not at all!"
Then, the two of them looked at each other and smiled.
Anthea lay prone on his sturdy chest. As he breathed in and out, she could feel his heartbeat under her hand, which was tough and strong.
He only wanted her.
Because she was the only woman he loved.
What had she done to make him treat her like this?
Anthea was deeply moved.
Adam caressed her head with his palm, as if she were the baby cat. He would never let her escape again.
In the quiet bride's lounge, the two of them were snuggling and cuddling, pouring their heart out to each other.
After a while, Adam said, "I think we need to go now."
Anthea nodded and followed him to stand up.
The hat on her head had already fallen off, while her long hair was falling over her shoulders like waterfall. Adam touched her hair softly, enjoying the feeling very much.
While they were walking out of the room, Anthea was still thinking about dressing up, but Adam directly led her toward the opposite direction of the church.
"Don't we go to attend the wedding ceremony?" She didn’t understand.
"No," Adam said.
"Where are we going?"
Adam glanced at her and said, "I'll elope with you." "What?" Anthea's eyes widened.
The intense passion in Adam’s eyes was like the sunshine rising from the sky, which could burn the whole world. "I can't wait anymore. Let's go get married. Right now!"
Anthea was completely stunned.
