It was Saturday the next day. Anthea did not have to go to work, so she and Adam went to the military hospital.
Bellamy had been in the hospital for some time and was almost fully recovered. Today he would leave the hospital, so Adam came here to arrange for his discharge.
When they arrived, Bellamy was still sitting on the hospital bed, and his wife, Meadow, was sorting out the military bulletins for him.
Seeing them enter the door, Bellamy's face fell as expected, but Meadow brightened.
Just like the last time, Anthea held a thermos in her arms.
She put it on the table, unscrewed the cap and the delicious smell of the chicken soup immediately floated out.
Bellamy gave Anthea a sidelong glance and snorted. "It's made by Adam again, isn't it?"
Anthea nodded embarrassedly. "Yes."
Even though Bellamy was displeased, he still had two bowls of chicken soup. It tasted pretty good.
But he still felt that Adam was pathetic!
Then he cast a glance at his son and asked in a deep voice, "Is what happened to Amelie true? She is actually the one who killed your father-in-law?"
The news that Amelie was arrested had spread, and due to her special identity, the effects she had brought were even worse. Even Bellamy who was in the hospital had also heard about it.
"Yes." Adam nodded.
Bellamy's face turned cold. "I didn't expect her to be such a person, who did all she could to kill people. It's really humiliating for her to be a soldier! Tonny had even called and wanted me to help her. What a fool!"
There was no doubt that he was disappointed with Amelie, but he hated her more.
After all, he had known Amelie since she was a child. But now, she became such a malicious person and did not deserve any sympathy. She should have to pay for what she did.
"Dad, you wanted me to marry her before." Adam said slowly.
Hearing this, Bellamy looked a little awkward.
Bang!
He pounded the table heavily.
He felt that his son didn't come to take him out of the hospital, but came to humiliate him!
After Adam finished speaking, he went out to complete the discharging formalities for his father. This time Meadow was also in the ward, so he felt more relieved when Anthea did not have to face Bellamy alone.
Bellamy went to the bathroom to take off his hospital gown and put on his own clothes.
After he came out, his attending doctor had just left, so Anthea passed the words to him, "Uncle, the doctor asked me to tell you that after you leave the hospital, remember to take the UCG and check your ECG. If you have any discomfort, you need to come back to the hospital!"
"Okay." Bellamy said indifferently.
Anthea hesitated for a moment. Maybe it was because of professional behavior, she said, "I just saw your case. You have high blood sugar. Please pay more attention to what you eat. Less sugar and more coarse grains. This will be very helpful for controlling your blood glucose!"
Bellamy curled his lips as if he was too embarrassed to thank her. Finally, he snorted coldly. "Don't forget what I told you before!" "..." Anthea was confused.
Her eyes were a little dazed, as if she didn't know what he meant.
When Bellamy saw this, he said angrily, "I won't accept you!"
Anthea touched her nose awkwardly.
But she had already married Adam.
After Adam finished the formalities, Bellamy left the hospital.
The driver of the Chin Family had already been waiting at the door. When he saw them come out, he opened the rear door. Bellamy's eyes swept over him, and then he got in the car with his hands clasped behind his back.
