Purchased A Mr. Right novel Chapter 1356

Adam avoided her wound when he hugged her.

His kiss was deep and fierce.

Anthea almost suffocated.

She did not struggle, but responded to him enthusiastically. She felt that such a kiss could make him feel her more clearly and take the worry out of him.

The long kiss finally ended.

Both of them were a little out of breath.

Adam put his palm on the back of her head and said in a hoarse voice, "It will never happen again."

"Yes!" Anthea promised.

As if he didn't hear her words, he repeatedly whispered in her ear, "Anthea, it really can't happen again. My heart is not good. I can't stand it."

If such a thing happened again, it would really take Adam's life!

Anthea nodded obediently.

But if there was a next time, she would not hesitate.

And Anthea also believed that if he encountered the same danger, he would definitely take bullets for

her.

Because they were husband and wife, lovers of each other.

They stayed together without saying anything for a while. Then Adam got up to buy some food for her in case that she was hungry.

Only now did Anthea realize that it was already evening.

After the operation, she slept all day long.

Half an hour later, Adam came back in a hurry with a steaming meal box in his hand.

In addition to Anthea, there was a nurse in the ward. She came to pull out the needle and check Anthea after she woke up.

It was a very beautiful female nurse. Her voice was also very gentle. She took Anthea's blood pressure and body temperature. Then she touched her forehead and said, "Very good, there is no sign of fever!"

Anthea cooperated with the check obediently. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Adam coming in.

She immediately smiled happily. "You're back!"

"Yes." Adam nodded.

Adam came in with a lunch box and stood in front of the cabinet.

He was still wearing his military uniform, and there were much dried blood on his chest. He had no time to change his clothes. Moreover, his chin was covered with stubble. He had not slept for a day and night. His eyes were bloodshot.

However, he didn't look untidy. Instead, he looked more like a man.

The nurse in front of the hospital bed picked up the tray and said with a smile, "You can call me at any time if there’s anything!"

Anthea thanked her. "Okay, thank you!"

Her eyes were focused on the lunch box.

Adam was opening the package for her as she swallowed.

After sleeping for a whole day, she was very hungry. Smelling the fragrance of food, she couldn't wait to eat.

Anthea waved her hand in the air and said, "Hurry up. I'm going to starve to death!"

She focused on the food so much that she didn't notice that when the nurse left, she turned to look back repeatedly at every step with a bashful look and her eyes seemed to be fixed on Adam.

After they finished their meal, it was dark outside the window.

Adam asked someone to bring him clean clothes and put them on. After washing up, he wiped her face and hands, just like the last time when her leg was broken.

Anthea narrowed her eyes cozily.

It was deep into the night, and the corridor outside became quiet as well. Only the sounds of footsteps could be heard from time to time.

Adam was sitting by the hospital bed, looking like he was going to accompany her all night. He seemed to have a shadow of her injury in his heart. It seemed that only when she was discharged from the hospital could he relieve.

Anthea patted the place next to her and forced him to lie down and sleep with her.

In order not to touch the wound, she lay on her side and curled up in his arms like a cat.
