Purchased A Mr. Right novel Chapter 1399

The car was driving to the Sacher family.

When Bunny got in the car, her little face was expressionless. She asked with some displeasure, "Why are you here?"

Jaxson Zakowski explained. "I happened to come nearby to send something to my dad, so I came by to pick you up!"

"Oh!" Bunny nodded.

Then whatever Jaxson said, she only hummed and hawed to reply.

When they arrived at the Sacher family, Bunny thanked him and jumped out of the car without giving him another chance to speak.

At dinner, both her parents were at home.

Bunny, seeing the couple sitting there, came over slowly.

The servants served the steaming hot dishes, but she did not feel it was her sweet home.

Mrs. Sacher exchanged a glance with her father, who then said, "Sloane, I met Jaxson when I came back. He said he sent you back, right?"

"Yes!" Bunny nodded.

"He also told me that he wanted to take you to the beach tomorrow weekend. You got off the car too fast, so he didn't have time to tell you. I said yes for you!" Her father showed a bit of dignity and continued, "Now, since you have engaged with him, his father and I are busy preparing for your marriage!"

"Once you get married, the Zakowski family will do some business with me. During this period, you have to maintain a good relationship with Jaxson. You can't let me lose the deal of 300 million dollars!"

"Okay!" Bunny nodded again.

She finished the last two pieces of beef on the plate and wiped her mouth with a napkin. "I'm full!"

With this, Bunny stood up and went upstairs.

Mrs. Sacher looked at her back and frowned. "Honey, she is so obedient now. I'm not used to it!"

"I feel the same!" Her father also frowned.

"She isn't playing some tricks with us, is she?" Mrs. Sacher said coldly. "Watch her closely. We can't let her run away from L City this time. Let's hurry up and marry off her. Then we can feel assured!"

"Yes!" Her father nodded and looked away from upstairs. "But you don't have to worry too much, dear. Since I took her back from Ice city, she has become much more obedient. I guess her brain must have been

hurt in the car accident!"

"So that's the case!" His words enlightened Mrs. Sacher.

Upstairs, Bunny was sitting in the room in a daze with one hand holding her cheek.

After a long while, she opened the drawer of the dressing table.

Inside, there was a small box. When she opened it, a little rabbit hairpin was lying quietly in it.

Bunny went back from Ice city with her father as soon as she was discharged from the hospital. All the clothes Emerson bought for her were still in the villa. She could not take any of them back. This hairpin was the only thing that she brought back with her.

She caressed the ears of the rabbit with her gentle hands.

Bunny treasured it.

The small artificial diamonds on it glittered brightly, reflecting the light into her eyes. She could hardly bear to put it down.

Before a mirror, Bunny wore on her head.

However, she suddenly thought of something and put the hairpin back with a cold face.

She closed the drawer and climbed onto the bed, wrapping herself in the quilt.

In the early morning of the next day, Jaxson came.

He was two years older than her and entered college two years before her. He drove here himself today.

Bunny was wearing a light pink dress with a hollow-design chiffon collar. Her skirt was trimmed with lace and white beads. Her hair was knitted into a particularly beautiful shape. Nevertheless, this delicate style was not for the beach.

She was originally going downstairs wearing a T-shirt and jeans. But when

Mrs. Sacher saw her, she criticized that she did not wear formally enough. Thus, she dressed Bunny up in person.

Ever since Bunny returned to L City, she became more composed. She seemed to care about nothing and was too lazy to resist.
