Early the next morning, someone knocked on the door.
Mila was sleeping. Being woken up, she looked at her watch and found it was just seven o'clock. She got up in a daze, walked to the door with slippers, and looked out through peephole.
She opened the door blankly as she said, "Why are you..."
Leonardo directly raised his hand, showing the bag he was carrying.
"I brought breakfast to Holly!"
Her words stopped her words.
Mila expressed her understanding. Yesterday, Leonardo also came here early in the morning with breakfast. He had just reunited with his daughter. It was natural that he wanted to spend all his time with Holly.
But, it was too early!
Mila yawned and was glad that he didn't come in as brazenly as yesterday.
She lowered her head and checked herself quickly. Fortunately, she was properly dressed and was not as embarrassing as yesterday.
The corners of Mila's mouth twitched, and she was about to say come in when Leonardo passed her and strode inside, as if he was going in and out of his own home.
The knocking at the door also woke up Holly.
She was wearing a small vest, rubbing her eyes and shouting, "Dad!"
Unlike before when she was shy, she reached out to hug him.
Yesterday morning, when she just learned that she had a father, she actually didn't feel much about him. When she woke up this morning and saw him again, she obviously felt much closer to him.
Two little hands were around his neck, and they were so close.
Leonardo carried her to the bathroom.
Holly stood on the small bench and washed up herself. It was taught by Mila. As a single mother and doctor when she was abroad, Mila was very busy. She often couldn't take care of Holly. Moreover, she didn't want to spoil Holly.
Mila also grew up in such an environment. Girls had to be raised in a rich and affectionate way, but they could not be spoiled.
Leonardo was very in favor of her education concept. In addition to looking at his daughter, he seemed to be looking around the room, as if he was looking for some suspicious traces.
Mila was puzzled. "Leonardo, what are you looking for?"
Except for Mila and Holly, there was no trace of any man in the room.
"Nothing!" Leonardo said calmly. He picked up his daughter, who had finished washing up, and glanced at her. "Let's have breakfast!"
"Okay!" Mila nodded.
Unlike last morning when he was at a loss, Leonardo already knew what his daughter liked to eat and what he bought was her favorite.
Mila sat down on the sofa with them and couldn't help but secretly look at Leonardo.
She found that compared to when he just entered the door, his eyebrows and the corners of his mouth seemed to be faintly rising.
What was he laughing at?
Mila was completely confused.
As soon as she woke up, Holly had breakfast. She was very full and hold her round belly embarrassingly.
Mila glanced at her watch.
It was already eight o'clock. Leonardo was now the president of a company. Every day there would be a mountain of work for him to do. He left at this time yesterday morning.
When Mila was hesitating whether to remind him, she heard Leonardo asking Holly, "Holly, where do you want to go? I can accompany you all day today!"
Holly tilted her head and thought for a while. "I want to go to the amusement park!"
The best place for children at this age was the amusement park.
