At noon, in the dining room of Adam and Anthea’s home.
Because it was weekend, Adam and Anthea were both free and enjoyed the family time.
Lil Star had eaten three chicken drumsticks at a time. When she was ready to eat the fourth one, she was stopped by her mother.
Anthea grabbed the drumstick and put it back on the plate, saying seriously, "Lil Star, you can't eat anymore. If you eat too much, you will have a stomachache! And look at you, how fat your little face is!"
Hearing the latter sentence, Lil Star snorted unhappily.
Looking at the drumstick on the plate, she turned around and asked for help, "Dad!"
Adam said, "I agree with your mother."
It seemed that he would agree with whatever his wife said.
Lil Star pouted.
There was no love for children in this world!
When the couple was immersed in the love from each other, they even ignored their daughter. Fortunately, Erik was still there.
Erik smiled and said, "Lil Star, you really
have to eat less, or I will not be able to hold you!"
When Lil Star heard this, she became extremely nervous. She raised her small face and struggled for a while before saying, "Then I'll reduce half a drumstick."
The whole family smiled helplessly.
Adam looked at Anthea with gentle eyes and sent an invitation for a date. "Dear, shall we go to the cinema this afternoon?"
Even though they had been married for many years, Anthea still felt shy under his straight eyes.
She shook her head with a red face. "Maybe another day! I have an appointment with Mila. She’ll come to our house with Holly this afternoon!"
"Okay." Adam nodded.
While listening to the conversation between her parents, Lil Star rolled her eyes.
After lunch, the couple cleaned up bowls and chopsticks together instead of asking the servant to clean.
One was responsible for washing, and the other wiped. They worked exceptionally well together.
Halfway through washing, they heard footsteps coming from behind them.
Lil Star grabbed Adam’s sleeve and shook it.
"Dad, can you take brother out to play this afternoon?"
"Why?" Adam raised his eyebrows.
Lil Star said in a childish tone, "Because Sister Holly is coming to my home!"
Anthea laughed and asked her daughter, "Lil Star, why did you ask Dad to take brother away when Sister Holly is coming? Don't you like Sister Holly? You should share with your friends!"
Lil Star said in a serious tone, "I'll give my favorite doll, Elsa, to Sister Holly, but brother is mine. I don’t want to share with others!"
Adam touched her daughter's head affectionately and said kindly, "Okay, I'll take Erik to the shooting range this afternoon."
Anthea glared at him.
Looking at her daughter, who was leaving happily after getting the promise, Anthea sighed, not knowing whether to laugh or not.
Was this possessiveness?
At two o'clock in the afternoon, Mila and Holly arrived on time.
Lil Star came down from upstairs with her favorite Elsa in her arms, handed it to Holly as if it was a treasure, and said, "Sister, this is a gift for you!"
Holly took it in surprise. "Thank you, Lil Star. You are so good!"
"You're welcome." Lil Star beamed.
“The doll is yours now. But brother is mine!”
Last time Leonardo and Adam were both here, so it was inconvenient for Anthea and Mila to talk about some things. This time, Anthea asked many questions about Mila’s life abroad in the past few years.
