After putting on the gown, Tina understood why Cyrilla praised her taste.
The pearl-gray dress looked ordinary, but it had many elaborately designed details: the lines of the V-collar before her chest were elegant and ethereal; from below the waist, the long gauze dress reaching to the floor was like a ribbon of moonlight.
Especially when she walked gently, the hem of the dress swayed, making her as graceful as a fairy in the tale.
Tina, as a student of clothing design, picked up this dress out of instinct. As it turned out, she made the right choice.
Cyrilla walked around her and turned around very excitedly. "Miss Hall, you will be the most beautiful woman tonight!"
Tina thought she overpraised.
She was not a celebrity and did not need to compete for attention at all.
However, when she looked up at herself in the mirror, she was indeed amazed.
With a slight shift of her gaze, she saw that a tall figure leaning against the door was watching her in the mirror.
Wilson had also put on his dark grey suit that just matched her pearl grey dress. His legs under the suit looked attractively long and shapely. The black obsidian buttons on his cuffs glowed with warm light. As his mouth under his rimless platinum glasses slightly curved up, he appeared outstandingly gentle and elegant.
Her deep eyes behind the glasses were fixed on her.
There was a slight smile on her lips. "You are gorgeous tonight!"
Tina was no longer an emotionally immature girl, but she was still delighted to hear his praise.
She smiled and said, "Thank you, Mr. Chin!"
When she looked down, her heart beat faster.
After changing their clothes, they left the store.
Cyrilla looked at their backs and could not take her eyes off them. Somehow, she felt that they were not going to a party, but more like going to the appreciation banquet for their wedding.
They were a perfect match.
The holiday village was in the north of the river, and it took them an hour to get there.
It seemed that the resort in Japanese architecture style was a new resort. There were a lot of luxury cars parked at the door.
Most of the attendants in the lobby were in kimono.
Wilson helped Tina get off the car.
The dinner was held on the third floor.
When they came out of the elevator, Wilson suddenly leaned to her and said, "You may meet an acquaintance tonight!" He addressed it simply. It seemed that he wanted her to get prepared for something in advance.
Tina was puzzled.
However, Wilson did not explain more and just curled his lips up into a light smile.
When he was about to enter the banquet hall, his cell phone rang. It seemed to be an important phone call about work. His expression suddenly became serious and let her go in by herself.
Tina nodded, lifted her dress hem, and walked in.
In the huge banquet hall, people with gorgeous hair and in perfumed clothes were toasting each other.
Tina had been adopted by the Koo family for many years. Lilith in this rich and powerful family who considered herself as a noble lady of high society loved holding various kinds of parties at home. Thus, Tina had taken part in such parties many times and did not feel embarrassed at such occasions.
She was just here to accompany Wilson, so she found a quiet corner to wait for him.
