Purchased A Mr. Right novel Chapter 1649

Selene's Smart Calculation

It was Saturday today, and the weather was sunny.

A luxury car entered the gate of the Koo family's villa. After the car was parked, the driver got out and opened the rear door.

Selene, who was wearing a CHANEL skirt of limited version, stepped down on her high heels. She was holding an umbrella in her hand.

After the driver closed the door, he went around the car and took out a lot of shopping bags from the trunk. Then, he called out to the servants and asked the latter to help him carry the bags into the house.

Aspry Koo and his wife, Lilith Yuen, were both at home.

After having their lunch, Aspry took a nap. Lilith, who was holding a cup of tea, came down from the stairs.

After hearing the servant's report, she smiled and walked forward.

Every time Selene came to visit the Koo family, she would buy a lot of beautiful clothes and expensive health-preservation products, which made Lilith very happy.

In fact, Lilith was extremely pleased with Selene, her future daughter-in-law.

She cordially led Selene to the living room, and the two of them sat down on the sofa.

Then, Lilith ordered the servant to serve tea.

Selene acted as if nothing special had occurred. First of all, she greeted Lilith obediently, and then presented the gifts she had bought. However, her eyes suddenly turned red after she finished drinking a cup of tea.

Lilith immediately became nervous when she saw this. "Selene, what's wrong? Tell auntie what happened."

Selene shook her head. "Auntie, I'm fine..."

Although she said that, her eyes were redder, and tears were accumulating.

With a slight blink of her eyelashes, tears fell down her cheeks.

Lilith said anxiously, "Don't cry! Tell me, what happened? Did Dylan treat you badly or bully you? Don't be afraid. I'll help you!"

Selene choked with sobs, "Auntie, I feel so sad!"

She covered her face with her hands and burst into tears.

Lilith fetched a tissue to wipe off her tears and said with concern, "Dear Selene, don't cry anymore. Tell me what happened!"

After Lilith consoled Selene for a long time, the latter slowly explained what happened.

She told Lilith everything about the incident that Dylan became badly drunk at the pub that night. The more she narrated, the more tears rolled down her face. In the end, her tears seemed to be out of control.

Selene sobbed sadly. "...I don't know what tricks that woman called Tina had used in pestering Dylan and me like this. When Dylan was drunk, he kept on calling her n

name...

After she finished speaking, as expected, Lilith's face suddenly changed, and her cheeks bulged out of anger.

Selene was very satisfied with Lilith's response.

She couldn't bear the fact that Dylan couldn't forget his ex-girlfriend for such a long time. She wanted to defend herself against this woman called Tina, but she dared not do anything harmful to her because of her cousin, Wilson Chin, an overbearing person, who happened to be Tina's benefactor or even boyfriend.

After reflecting upon it for a long time, Selene finally decided to look for help from Lilith.

Lilith was exasperated after hearing what Selene said, "Tina Hall is a b*tch! I knew it. She wouldn't behave properly at all!"

Selene was still sobbing. "Auntie, I'm so sad now! I love Dylan, but his heart has been stolen by this woman called Tina. What am I going to do..."

"How dare she! Selene, you're my future daughter-in-law. As long as I'm Dylan's mother, no other woman would be able to marry into the Koo family!" Lilith comforted Selene.

Although Selene Chin was just a collateral relative of the Chin's Group, she was, to some extent, still superior to the Koo family as far as the social ladder was concerned.

Lilith had indeed made great efforts to make Dylan and Selene become lovers. Now that the two of them had finally gotten engaged, Lilith cherished this good opportunity very much. In other words, she was afraid that "The cooked duck flew away", as the saying went.

Seeing that Selene had shed so many tears, Lilith was very nervous. She worried that Selene might thus have negative impressions about the Koo family. She thought she must take action.

Lilith held up Selene's hand. "Come on. Let's go. I'll get even with that b*tch and teach her a lesson! Let her know that no woman in the world, except you, will marry my son Dylan Koo!"

Selene wiped the corners of her eyes with a

tissue.
