Purchased A Mr. Right novel Chapter 1657

Why Does It Look Like Wilson's Mercedes-Benz?

Lilith was perhaps the one who had the second most drastic reaction to the news that Selene's engagement with Dylan would be cancelled.

She hadn't expected that an accident like this would happen when the grand engagement ceremony had already been held. Everybody just needed to wait for a year or so, and then the wedding ceremony for Selene and Dylan's marriage could be held. From the viewpoint of Selene and Lilith, What's sure to be gained was lost.

This was a serious setback for Lilith.

She firmly disagreed her son's decision.

Yet Dylan threatened his mother directly that he might tell Aspry, his father, all the truth.

Aspry actually didn't know the truth of the accident that happened five years ago. He only thought that the two children were too young and immature to be able to handle things properly. Tina might have been tempted by some of her bad friends and become pregnant, which resulted in her separation from Dylan. In consideration of this, Aspry felt regretful and disappointed that he hadn't educated Tina properly in family education.

Aspry in fact didn't know what his wife had done to Tina.

If he knew it, Lilith would no longer be able to wear the mask of a virtuous wife and loving mother in the Koo family.

It was for this reason that Lilith finally submit to Dylan's decision.

The engagement between the two families was successfully canceled.

In the past five years, although Dylan had achieved great accomplishments in his music career, he had in fact been living under the shadow of separating from Tina. After he recovered from the car accident, he actually felt that every day was meaningless for him.

Whether it was finding a girlfriend or engaging with somebody, he acted as if he was just an outsider.

But now, he had finally learned about why Tina decided to break up with him five years ago.

He felt sad and excited about this discovery.

It was as if he was lost in a desolate desert, and afterwards had gone through a lot of difficulties and trials. Finally, an oasis gradually appeared in his view, giving him the courage to move on.

For Dylan, the reunition with Tina was almost like rebirth.

Tina couldn't help but frown when she saw the flickering light in Dylan's eyes.

Isla ran up to her mother.

She held her mother's hand up and turned around to look out of the ward curiously.

Dylan stepped into the ward.

He put the fruit basket down onto the table and greeted them. "Tina, Malee... Nice to meet you. I came here to see Isla. I didn't bring her some gifts because I was in a hurry last time!"

Dylan had very handsome facial features. Because of his nonchalant temperance, he usually gave others the impression of being cool. When he was playing the piano, there would be a melancholy aura around him. For this reason, he rarely smiled in his daily life.

Today, however, there was always a faint smile on his face, which was as tender as the spring breeze.

Dylan lowered his eyes slightly. "Isla, do you still remember me? You knew I'm a pianist."

Isla nodded.

Malee felt that this was a little bit strange. She stepped forward. "Isla, this is Dylan Koo. You can call him Uncle Koo!"

Isla greeted him obediently, "Hello, Uncle

Koo!"

Dylan replied her with a smile.

Although he was annoyed when he first learned that Tina had a four-year-old daughter. But now, after meeting the clever and outgoing little girl a few times, he had unconsciously developed an affinity for her. What's more, Isla was the daughter of Tina, his beloved ex-fiancee.

Children often looked innocent and pure. Moreover, it was Tina who gave birth to Isla. In this regard, Isla was the continuation of Tina's life.

What Dylan said to Tina that day was true.

For the rest of his life, Dylan really wanted to take care of Isla, and treated her as his own.

Dylan half-squatted down and patiently talked to Isla.

Isla was a child who was actually not afraid of meeting strangers, and she was also very outgoing. She responded to Dylan's questions politely.

Tina could notice that Dylan was trying to please Isla.

He seemed to be trying to improve the strange relationship between Isla and him.

Isla didn't feel the undercurrent in the expressions of the adults. She ate a lot of pitayas. The dark-purple fruit juice had stained her face, making her look like a tabby cat. Malee then took Isla to the bathroom to clean up.

Only Tina and Dylan remained in the room.

Dylan looked at her and said, "Tina, has your relationship with Wilson Chin come to an end?"

There was uncontrollable excitement in his voice.

Tina's lips pursed.
