Purchased A Mr. Right novel Chapter 1665

He Didn't Want a Third Wheel Tina looked up and saw Isla running happily toward her with her arms wide open like bird wings.

Isla shouted in a childish voice, "Mom, I'm back!"

Tina smiled and caught her daughter. "Oh, look at you! You're drenched in sweat! Where did you go?!"

"I didn't go to the places you don't allow me to go. I'm always well-behaved!" Isla said, and then she politely greeted Desmond.

Tina affectionately brushed her nose. "You went to the garden downstairs and caught butterflies with your friends, didn't you?"

Isla shook her head. "No, I have a short date!"

"Who were you dating with?" Tina asked with a smile.

Isla smiled shyly and said, "The overbearing president, of course!"

Her little face was flushed with excitement, and her eyes were as bright as sparkling stars.

Isla would only be like this when she was with Wilson.

Tina’s heart skipped a beat.

She looked at Isla and said, "What did you say? The overbearing president? Did he just come here?"

The news stroke her heart and caused a surge of emotions, like a stone thrown into a tranquil lake.

It brought her a little hope.

"Yes!" Isla nodded and tilted her head. "But he has driven away in his big car!"

... Tina froze.

Isla took her hand and said, her face innocent, "I called him and said I missed him, but I didn't expect that he would come to see me in the end. I'm so happy!

Mom, he didn't want a third wheel, so he didn't come to greet you!"

Tina nodded with a wry, rigid smile.

Desmond inserted the straw into the milk tea next to him and handed it to Isla to please her. "Isla, have some milk tea. I bought it after lining up for a long time!"

Isla showed him enough respect. "Thank you for that, Uncle Chin!"

Adam beamed with joy. "Is it tasty?"

"Yes!" Isla nodded.

Still smiling, Desmond asked with a wicked intention. "Isla, tell me, who do you think is more handsome, your overbearing president and me?"

He still remembered the first time he came to the ward he was depressed by Wilson on the spot.

Desmond wanted to gain some confidence.

Isla replied without hesitation, "Overbearing president!"

Desmond felt depressed again!

Tina seemed to be a little distracted, her eyes distant. All she was thinking about was Wilson had been in the hospital...

There was a knock on the door, and a female nurse at the door said, "Miss Hall, come with me to the nurse station!"

"Okay!" Tina stood up in a hurry.

She asked Desmond to help take care of Isla for the time being and left with the nurse.

When they arrived at the nurse's station, Tina asked, "What's the matter?"

The nurse took a few bills on the table and handed them to her. "Here's the thing, Miss Hall. I called you here to tell you that it's time to pay Islas medical expenses!"

"Ah..." Tina bit her lips.

She had probably guessed that it would be medical expenses.
