He Was Unlucky Today
Selene stood up from the chair and pointed angrily at a staff member. "What's wrong with you? Don't you have eyes? You nearly bumped into me! How can you work here?! Are you blind or something?"
The staff repeatedly apologized. "I'm sorry, Miss Chin. I'm sorry!"
Selene stretched out her leg to the aisle. Just as he passed by while busy with the work on hand, he didn't see her legs and almost tripped. Then there followed her reproach. Although he felt wronged, he did not dare to argue with her.
Someone said with a smile, "Selene, you always have quite a temper!"
Selene turned back and saw who it was, and the anger on her face faded a little. "Abby!" "I just saw it. He did not mean it. There are too many things to deal with, so the staff was in a rush. Besides, he nearly stumbled over your feet. Why are you angry with him?" Abby smiled, trying to smooth this incident over. Then she let him leave.
Selene snorted coldly. "He was unlucky today!"
During this period of time, she was in a bad mood and almost scolded all the servants at home.
Abby pulled her to sit down and comforted her, "Well, calm down! I know that you have been sad recently, so you are in a bad mood. Thus was why I especially asked you to come over to relax!"
Selene said gratefully, "Thank you!"
She came here not only because of her invitation but also because she met Dylan here.
Tina was a designer attending the competition, so she supposed that he would definitely come here along with her.
Sure enough, she soon caught Dylan at the scene.
With churning emotions, she fixed her eyes on him. However, as she saw Tina beside him, her eyes darkened.
In an instant, jealousy and hatred filled her.
Abby also looked over and patiently reminded, "Selene, I'm also sorry about what happened between you and Dylan, but I can't help it. You'd better forget him as quickly as possible!"
"But you know how much I love him!" Selene said excitedly, "How can I let him go?! It's all Tina's fault. If it weren't for her, we would still be together!"
Finally, there was a person who could talk to her about it. Selene was not willing to let go of any chance to scold Tina. "You don't know that this woman is so good at seducing men! She took Dylan away from me, though I had engaged with him! And before this, she was once Wilson's mistress..."
A glint flitted across Abby's eyes.
Then she said with a light smile, "Is that so?"
Abby suddenly remembered that the last time she went to Chin's Group, she saw Tina when waiting for the servants to bring her the porridge. Then in the office, Wilson was disappointed when he looked up and saw her face.
It seemed that the person he was waiting for was not her.
She had met Tina three times, but she never cared about her. She thought she was an insignificant person. It had never occurred to her that there was such a connection between her and Wilson...
Thinking of this, Abby became more vigilant to Tina.
Even on the other side, Tina could feel Selene's hatred glare.
But she turned a blind eye to this.
Tina had thought about whether she should explain everything to Selene clearly, but when she thought of her bad temper and the fact that she had already determined that it was her who snatched her fiance, Tina didn't think she would listen to her explanation.
Even worse, she might even think of her as a liar.
Therefore, to avoid unnecessary trouble, Tina gave up the idea.
Malee took Tina's hand. "Oh, Tina, I'm so excited and nervous! I'm happy for you that you can enter the finals, and I'm looking forward to you winning the championship!" Tina smiled and said, "I'm very happy that G N you can come!
"Of course I would come here. The previous contests might not be that important, but this is the finals so that I must be here to cheer you up!" Malee said.
