Purchased A Mr. Right novel Chapter 1742

Meadow was wearing very elegant makeup. It could be seen that she attached great importance to meeting Tina.

Her hair was tied up in a high bun behind. Although she was not wearing a cheongsam, the design of her skirt borrowed ideas of the collar type and seven-fold sleeves of a cheongsam. The skirt was grey in its color, and it looked very graceful.

Tina apologized. "Sorry for being late, Mrs. Chin. There have been traffic jams along the way!"

She thought that it was impolite to let an elder wait for her for such a long time.

Meadow didn't mind it at all. She said gently, "It doesn't matter!"

Her face was full of kindness as an elder. "Miss Hall, please sit down. I have ordered a cup of Cappuccino and a cup of Latte. Which one do you like?"

"Thank you!" Tina nodded gratefully.

After she chose the Cappuccino, Meadow pushed a red- velvet cake to her. "There are some snacks here. Have a cake first!"

The red- velvet cake was cream- glazed and embellished with cherries. It was contained in a white- porcelain plate with a gilded rim, which looked very appetizing.

Tina used a bronze fork and took a bite of the cake.

Then, she looked up and saw that Meadow was smiling friendly. Tina felt warm and comfortable as Meadow's smile was sincere.

Tina recalled the first time she met Meadow. It was at an engagement party.

At that time, Tina was still Wilson's secret mistress which only slept with him at weekends. She hadn't realized that Wilson was her Mr. Right.

When she followed Wilson to say hello to Meadow, Tina, as a bystander, thought that Wilson's mother was a typical good mother and good wife of the Chinese style. Anyone who became her daughter-in-law in the future would be very lucky.

Today, when Tina recalled her first meeting with Meadow again, she was endlessly envious of the lucky girl who would become her daughter-in-law.

It seemed that Abby would be this lucky girl.

Tina suppressed her emotions and raised her head with a smile. "Madam Chin, why do you want to drink coffee with me today?"

Meadow replied, "Nothing special. I just want to talk to you! I've recently acquired a book on the design of cheongsam, and among all my acquaintances no one was good at costume design except for you. I think I can have a good talk with you on this topic!"

There was a book placed on the table. The coverup design of it was old-fashioned.

Upon hearing that, Tina roughly realized Meadow's intention. "Okay, this is my honor!"

Then, she and Meadow talked about cheongsams.

Because the two of them were both interested in this topic, they chatted very happily.

However, from time to time, Meadow would lower her head and look at the watch on her wrist. It was perhaps because her time schedule was tight, or she was waiting for someone else.

There were a great many guests coming in and out of the cafe.

Suddenly, Meadow looked up with a bright smile. "Wilson, we're here!"

Tina's expression became slightly stiff.

Then, the sound of steady footsteps could be heard.

Wilson came over to them. He was wearing a suit today. His facial features were vivid and goodlooking, and he was wearing a pair of glasses with a platinum-gilded frame. Behind the glasses, his eyes were sharp and piercing. However, he looked a little anxious now.

After he saw Meadow, Wilson's anxiety disappeared.

Wilson frowned. "Mom, didn't you say on the phone that you felt uncomfortable in your heart and wanted me to come over here quickly?"

Not long ago, Meadow was sent to the hospital due to sudden illness, and Therefore Wilson was still cautious about something like that.

After receiving the phone call, he immediately halted what he was doing and rushed over here.

Seeing that his mother's face was ruddy and healthy now, he finally felt relieved.

Meadow nodded with a smile. She waved to her son and told him yet another lie almost jokingly, "Yes, I was a little uncomfortable just now, but now I feel much better! Miss Hall had chosen the Cappuccino. Why don't you take the Latte!"

Wilson was speechless."..."

Meadow pulled Wilson's hand and he sat down.

Tina's hands held the coffee cup.

At this moment, she realized the real reason why Meadow asked her to come over here.

Talking about cheongsams was just an excuse. Meadow made an appointment with Tina on the phone first. When she saw that Tina was getting off the taxi, she must have called Wilson and coaxed him into coming here too...

Meadow seemed to be enthusiastically creating opportunities for Wilson and Tina.
