It was the weekend.
The weather was fine, and it was a good day for a wedding.
Tina got up early. After breakfast, she and her daughter dressed up for Susan's wedding.
Isla was dressed in a white gauzy dress, and her hair was tied in a bun with a bow hairpin on it. She stood in front of the mirror and twirled. She felt that she was pretty.
Today, she played a very important role. She was the flower girl who gave the ring to the bride.
When Tina walked out of her room with Isla, she saw Amin, who was about to go downstairs.
Seeing them both dressed up, Amin smiled and said apologetically, "Tina, I'm sorry, I have work to do today, and I have two important meetings, so I can't go to Susan's wedding with you. Please give her my blessing."
He had met Susan before, who ran a studio with Tina and was her good friend.
Therefore, as Tina's husband, he was supposed to go to her wedding, although they were not very familiar with each other.
Tina smiled and said, "It doesn't matter. I'll give her your blessing."
Amin nodded. Suddenly, he thought of something and said casually, "By the way, Desmond will attend today's meeting."
He knew that she had a close relationship with Desmond.
Tina said anxiously, "Desmond has a short temper and is temperamental. If he gives you a hard time, don't be angry with him."
At the last banquet, Desmond was still mad at her.
He minded that she had married Amin instead of him.
She was afraid that he would vent his anger on Amin because of her, so she reminded Amin beforehand.
Amin didn't mind. "Don't worry."
She nodded.
The driver arrived on time. It was still early, so he decided to send them to the hotel before going to work.
The hotel was romantically decorated. The arch made up of champagne-colored balloons was warm and attractive. There were already many cars parked at the entrance. It was very lively.
It was grander than Tina had imagined.
Even though Terry was not from a rich and powerful family, he was Wilson's special assistant and held a very important position in Chin's Group, so many people came to his wedding.
There was a revolving glass door in the middle of the entrance, with small hand-pushed doors on either side.
On the right stood a tall and straight man, who wore a suit and platinum glasses. He looked gentle and had a strong aura.
He looked at the roadside attentively as if he was waiting for someone.
The person who was about to enter the hotel caught sight of him and walked toward him in surprise. He rubbed his hands and said, "President Chin, I'm Roger Zabel from LH company. Do you remember me?"
Wilson glanced at him and nodded slightly.
Then he took a step aside because Roger was so wide and blocked his view.
However, Roger didn't notice it. He said with excitement and flattery, "I heard that you went abroad. I've always wanted to visit you in person. Today is Terry's wedding, so I was wondering if I could see you. I didn't expect to be so lucky. I want to cooperate with..."
At this time, a car stopped at the hotel entrance.
When the door opened, a little girl jumped out, followed by Tina.
Wilson's eyes became tender.
The next second, however, they became cold.
The car door didn't close immediately. The car didn't leave until Amin, who sat in the back seat, said goodbye to Tina.
When Isla saw Wilson, her big dark eyes sparkled with surprise. She broke free from Tina's hand and dashed excitedly toward him.
Roger had been talking non-stop, so he didn't notice Isla who was running over, but he saw Tina walking up the stairs.
He quickly greeted her. "Nice to meet you, Mrs. Stark."
As soon as he finished speaking, he noticed a cold, murderous look fixed upon him.
