Purchased A Mr. Right novel Chapter 697

After about two hours of driving, when they arrived at the town, it was nearly dark.

After coming out of the car, Simon did not immediately walk inside. Instead, he opened the trunk. Emily followed him with confusion and saw that it was full of wrapped packages.

Emily was surprised. "Why did you take so many things?"

Simon took down all the gifts and gestured her to close trunk with his chin. "Last time I didn't bring anything. I'll make it up this time!"

Emily blankly raised her hand and closed it. She saw that he was burdened by sacks and boxes, which even affected his pace. After getting married for a few months, she found that his frivolous exterior concealed one of the most considerate hearts.

In all fairness, he did what a husband should do.

Biting her lip, Emily said in a low voice, "Simon, you don't have do this!"

"Up the stairs!" Simon merely said.

When they reached the old-fashioned door, the door was pushed open from the inside without waiting for Emily to take out the key as if they had been waiting for them for a long time, so they could immediately greet them upon hearing their footsteps.

"Simon, nice to see you!" Aunt shouted enthusiastically.

Emily, who was ignored behind, mumbled unhappily, "Auntie, I'm here!"

The aunt just gave her a quick glance, and then immediately took Simon in with a smile. "Come in! You must be tired for driving along the way. Sit on the sofa and drink some coffee. You'd better have a rest now! Meal is almost ready."

Emily rolled her eyes behind them in silence.

The smoke exhauster in the kitchen was droning. She went in to have a look and was astounded by the spectacular scene in the kitchen. They had prepared a feast of meat and vegetables, cheese, yogurt, and fruit. The dinner was even more sumptuous than the last time.

"Look at all this!"

Looking at her aunt who was sweating profusely, Emily frowned and said, "Aunt, you don't have to cook so much. Just cook something quick and simple. He's not a president, he doesn't need so many people to cater to him. What's more, he's our family member, so you don't need to make so many dishes every time he comes. He has just one mouth and can eat whatever you give him!"

"What do you know?" Aunt said unhappily.

Emily could do nothing but watch her aunt continue to cooking other meals. When she turned around, she saw Simon leaned against the door of the kitchen, lazily squinting at her.

After all, she felt a little guilty after saying that. When she was about to say something, she heard him suddenly ask, "I'm a family member?"

"What?" Emily was confused.

That seemed to be what she said just now, but didn't he say that he married aunt's only niece?

Simon stubbed out the cigarette he had just smoked in his hand, walked to her, and kissed her on the lips. Then he said lazily, "I'm going to assist your aunt!"

Emily covered her mouth with her face and ears red.

She didn't expect that he would suddenly kiss her. Fortunately, no one saw them. However, he seemed in a good mood because a shadow of a smile touched his mouth and his amorous eyes were full of laughter.

Was it just because of the flippant remark she said just now?
