After Isla ate an apple, the nurse came in to offer Isla an infusion.
Simon in white gown had to return to his department to work. Emily followed him out of the ward. She murmured, "Where did Tina go? Why hasn't she come back yet after taking the medicine?"
They came out of the elevator together. The pharmacy was on the first floor. Even if she climed the stairs, she should be back now!
While she frowned, someone suddenly held her hand.
Emily was stunned. When she looked down at her hand, she found that her hand was firmly wrapped by Simon's big palm. Their fingers were tightly interlocked with each other, feeling each other's body temperature.
Seeing a nurse and a patient came over, she wanted to break away, but her hand was held tightly by him. Moreover, their relationship in the hospital was no longer a secret. Thinking of this, she gave up struggling and held his hand with shyness.
Then she asked with concern, "Honey, how is Brother Wilson?"
"He's fine." Simon nodded. When it came to the illness, there was a trace of seriousness in his voice. "The bone marrow transplant is not harmful to the donateer in theory. Furthermore, he can be discharged from the hospital in two days. There will be different degrees of pain and fatigue. After the patient rests for a while, they will be relieved. Brother is always in good health, and his immunity hasn't diminished either. He has already recovered his body's condition before the donation!"
"That's good!" Emily nodded and asked, "What about Isla? Has she recovered completely after the operation?"
Simon said thoughtfully, "It is not easy to make sure at present. If it doesn't relapse within five years after the treatment, she can survive for a long time. If it doesn't relapse within ten years, she will recover completely!"
"I believe that Isla will get better!" Emily said firmly when she thought of the lovely girl in the ward.
Simon smiled faintly.
From the corner of the corridor, they saw a man and a woman kissing at the end of the corridor. More accurately, it was a forced kiss. The man pressed the woman against the wall, holding her chin and kissing her fiercely.
Emily said with a tut, "Honey, your hospital is really amazing. It's acceptable to see this on duty at night but surprised to see this in the daytime. If I have a chance to see this again, I really want to take the camera!"
Simon said calmly, "They are not the staff members in our hospital."
Hearing this, Emily looked at them more carefully. They didn't wear white gown and nurse uniform. They seemed to be the patient's family. The man was in a black suit, while the dress of the woman looked very familiar.
Emily quickly widened her eyes and exclaimed in disbelief. "The girl in the front must be Tina, isn't she? The man..."
Simon said indifferently, "My brother Wilson."
Emily was shocked!
Looking at the man's muscular appearance under the suit, Emily was surprised that he should be gentle and cultivated Wilson.
She swallowed her saliva and said seriously, "I'm now sure that Wilson is not a gay!"
Instead of bothering the two kissing each other, Emily was pulled into the elevator by Simon. After taking over the shift with the doctor on duty, they drove away together.
Seeing him driving the Cayenne to the riverside, but it was in the direction of home, Emily asked confusedly, "Honey, don't we go home?"
Simon said lightly, "Hmm."
"Where are we going then?" Emily asked in confusion.
