Emily was stunned, holding the popcorn in her hand. "Oh," she whispered and asked with her eyes down, "Simon, are you going there now?"
She put the popcorn in her mouth. It should be honey flavor but she somehow felt tasteless.
"Yeah!" Simon nodded.
"But this is the last showing of the movie, after tonight we won't be able to watch it in the movie theater!" Emily couldn't help but frown and said. But after saying that, she found it nonsense. Simon would not choose a movie over Addy!
She pursed her lips awkwardly.
After a few seconds of silence, she reached out her hand to grab his hand, "I'll go with you!"
"You want to go with me?" Simon's almond-shaped eyes slanted to her.
Emily turned her face away, not that she was attracted to the fierce fighting scenes on the big screen. Feeling a little suffocated in her chest, she said in a muffled voice, "If you don't want me to go, then I won't go!"
The next second, she was pulled up from her seat. "I want you to go with me!"
In the night, the Cayenne drove to an underground bar in a prosperous area.
The steps of the extrance were steep. Simon held Emily's hand as they walked in the bar. After they entered the bar, they heard the deafening music. There were quite a number of men and women on the dance floor who were flirting with each other.
In front of the peninsular bar counter, Addy was sitting on a high chair lying prone on the marble table. She seemed to have had drunk a lot that she was very drunk.
Addy's beige coat was placed on a chair next to her. She was wearing a high- collared knitted thin sweater, of which the back was designed with a crossed tie, revealing her fair skin. Under the colorful light, she looked quite attractive. In such a bar, two shifty-eyed men were already approaching her.
Emily felt that Simon suddenly loosened her hand.
Before she realized it, Simon had already walked to Addy's side. He grabbed a man, who was trying to touch Addy, by the hand. The man immediately became angry and began to swear, "F*ck off. She is ours!"
"What if I don't do what you said?" Simon retorted coldly.
"Then we will beat you up!" Another man stepped forward, "Let's not bicker with him. Let's beat him up together! This pretty chick must go on our bed tonight!"
Simon sneered, "Don't even think about it!"
Emily slightly widened her eyes and saw that the two men had already rushed at Simon. Simon didn't show any fear on his face. He grabbed one man's waving fist, twisted it to the left and the right, and bent it down directly. Then he hit the other man's chin with his elbow and gave a round kick.
Then, he picked up a bottle and broke it on the bar counter. He pointed at the two men with the broken piece of the bottle and said with his eyes narrowed, "Who dares to come forward and fight me?"
The two men felt so much pain that they gasped. After taking a look at each other, they ran away in disgrace.
After watching that nervously, Emily slowly closed her mouth. She had never known that as a doctor, Simon could also fight so well...
The bartender, who dared not to step forward, walked out of the bar counter, and asked cautiously, "Are you, Mr. Chin?"
"I am!" Simon put the broken bottle down.
"That's good!" After the bartender finished saying, he handed over the pink mobile phone in his hand and said, "When this young lady came, she asked for a whole bottle of vodka. I tried to talk her into her senses several times, but she didn't listen to me. Finally, she became so drunk. Because there was only your number on her mobile phone, I called you!"
