Purchased A Mr. Right novel Chapter 768

Stunned, Emily raised her head and saw a tall and straight figure standing in front of the tombstones.

He scarcely dressed in all black, instead of his favorite gray charcoal and even the shirt inside the windbreaker was black. His trousers were stiff. He was looking correctly grave as he set his jaw grimly and waited in silence.

Emily swallowed hard. This man was dazzling no matter where he was.

Hearing Selena's voice, Simon, whose eyes fixed on the tombstones, slightly turned and looked at her face from a few steps away.

"You..."

Emily had a heart of stone. She walked over slowly and asked, "When did you come?"

Simon put one hand in his pocket and replied lazily. "It's been a while!"

Emily noticed that two bunches of fresh lilies were placed in front of her parents' gravestones. A slight breeze rose in the mountain, wafting the delicate fragrance of flowers past her, mixed with the masculine scent of his body.

She turned back and looked at the two elders who were walking towards her quickly. She bit her lips and said, "Simon, you don't have to come all the way here..."

In the past, when they were married, he should visit her parents. But now that they had divorced, it was no longer his responsibility and had nothing to do with him.

"I've promised you!" Simon suddenly said.

"What?" Emily was confused.

Simon smiled faintly with a distant look in his eyes. "I'll visit your mom and dad with you on memorial days."

"..." Emily instantly clenched her fists.

That was a long time ago. If he didn't mention it, she almost forget that day. When she accompanied him to the cemetery to visit his mother for the first time, he asked about her parents' death day. She told him that it had passed, and then he made such a promise...

While the memories consumed her, her aunt and uncle had already come close to them. "Simon!"

Simon took out the hand in his pocket. As usual, he smiled and said politely, "Aunt, uncle!"

"Look! Dear, I told you that Simon would never let us down. No matter how busy he is, he will come eventually!" Aunt grinned from ear to ear and asked with concern, "Simon, did you drive here early in the morning?"

"Mn." Simon's lips curled up.

Hearing this, aunt was moved even more. "You must be very tired! You are working under extreme pressure in the hospital, and you couldn't have a good rest last night. When we finish, you can take a rest at home!"

"Okay!" Simon smiled and nodded.

After more than an hour, they came home by the black Cayenne, instead of hailing a taxi again.

When everyone changed their slippers at home, Emily slowed down and gently pulled Simon's sleeve before others saw them. She lowered her voice and said, "Simon, that... I haven't them we divorced!"

Hearing this, Simon raised his eyebrows slightly. "That's nice!"

He could guess it from the reaction of the two elders.

Emily's lips pursed slightly. She was somewhat unsure of his emotions. However, when she raised her head and was about to ask if it would trouble him, she caught a hint of pleasure in his beautiful eyes as if he was in a good mood.
