In such a short time, Sean slapped himself again, and the voice was still loud. He begged, "Honey, it's my fault! Forgive me, okay? I know I'm wrong! I swear, I'll never drink again!"
"I don't know why either. Every time I drink, a lot of things will be out of control and my mood will completely collapse. When I woke up, I regretted so much. I really want to kill myself. How can I beat you. I deserve to die!"
When he said the last sentence, his voice even became choked with sobs.
Sean's eyes were filled with fury during domestic violence. Now, his eyes were red with tears streaming down his face.
Addy's face, which had been injured, turned around, and her drooping hands were slightly trembling.
Seeing this, Sean moved forward while kneeling, half lying on the side of the bed, grabbed her hand and tried to use it to slap himself. "Addy, my darling, please hit me, hit me heavily, but don't ignore me, I really know I'm wrong! I know I shouldn't do this. I'm a bastard. Forgive me, okay? I regretted very much since I woke up. I'll do anything you want as long as you can forgive me! I promise you that I won't drink or fight again, I'll make a vow to you!"
"Don't make noise here. Get up!" Addy tried to pull back her hand and frowned.
Sean shook his head, however, with a look of determination on his face. "No, if you don't forgive me, I'll never get up! Honey, I know I'm wrong. This is my punishment! I'm so guilty that I want to die in order to pay for my sins! Or, I'll just hit myself to death now!"
At the end of his words, he was not joking, but really going to slam into the cabinet in front of him.
Seeing this, Addy hurried to stop him. "Don't, what are you doing..."
Sean grabbed her hand and put his face on it, crying and repenting. "Honey, forgive me! Addy, I love you. I've been pursuing you for so many years, and you have to believe in my feelings for you. I'm just confused for a while, and I promise I won't do it again next time! Give me a chance. I just said, I swear I'll quit drinking and never touch it again!"
Addy looked out of the window and closed her eyes for a few seconds. When she withdrew her eyes, the corners of her eyes flickered slightly. She swallowed some words that she wanted to say and sighed. "Well, you get up... I'll give you a chance!"
Hearing this, Sean's face was full of joy. He was so excited that he almost kowtowed to her. "Really? Honey, thank you! I will correct my misdeeds and do everything you say. I won't quarrel with you anymore. I will live a good life with you in the future!"
"Mn." Addy nodded slowly and urged him to stand up again.
Sean stood up from the ground. But he seemed to have been kneeling for a long time, so his feet were numb and he staggered a few steps, but he didn't mind at all. Instead, he was very happy and sent the roses on the ground to Addy.
Addy raised her hand and asked him to put it aside for the time being.
After Sean did as he was told, he strode back to the hospital bed two steps at a time, like a puppy who had done something wrong and sought out its owner's favor. He held Addy's hand with both of his hands. "Honey, you haven't had breakfast yet, have you?"
"I've eaten!" Addy replied.
With a deep smile, Sean looked at her with tender eyes, as if nothing had happened, and said, "It doesn't matter. I'll buy you something to eat. Don't you love to drink the soybean milk in the breakfast restaurant downstairs? I'll buy it for you now. And the things you like to eat at ordinary times, I'll buy them all for you later. Wait for me!"
After that, he turned around and walked out of the ward.
Seeing them standing at the door, he simply nodded and left quickly.
