Purchased A Mr. Right novel Chapter 887

To prove what he said was true, Simon deliberately turned his pocket to show her the long knife cut on it.

Emily looked at him from a distance and said, "I only have one bedroom!"

"I don't mind!" Simon raised her eyebrows. Seeing that she pursed her lips, he stopped joking and said in a serious tone, "I can sleep on the sofa!"

"..." Emily frowned.

Simon frowned when seeing her cold face and lowered his beautiful eyes. Even his voice seemed to be lowered a little. "The embassy must have been closed long ago. You can't be so hard-hearted to let me wander alone in the street, can you?"

Emily really could not bear to hear that.

In a foreign country, Emily might help a stranger in distress who came from the same country with her, not to mention he was once her husband.

Emily gently clenched her hands on her sides. After struggling for a few seconds, she agreed and said, "Okay, you can stay!"

"Great! Then I'll go and take a shower first!" Simon said after hearing this.

Then, the tall and straight figure strode straight to the bathroom.

Soon, there came the sounds of running water.

After taking a brief shower, Simon, wrapped in a bath towel, came out. Meanwhile, Emily happened to push open the bedroom door and came out with a pillow in her arms.

Simon thought the pillow was for him. When he was about to pick it up, he heard her faint voice. "Simon, you don't have to sleep on the sofa. I can lend you the bed. I'll go to spend the night with the female colleague next door!"

She agreed to let him stay because she did not have the heart to drive away a man from the same country.

After their baby was gone, she told him that she would never again live under the same roof with him. Even under such a special circumstance, she did not want to live in the same room with him. So when she allowed him to stay here, she had already decided to stay with the girl next door tonight.

Misha Desmond was from the south of Country C. She looked like a cheerful and enthusiastic girl. Emily thought she might take her in.

As soon as she finished speaking, Emily walked to the vestibule without giving him any time to react, as straightforward as when she opened the door for him.

Simon had never expected her to leave. For a long while, he remained speechless. Soon, he heard a "bang" sound of the door closing.

Just as Emily had expected, Misha welcomed her and even chatted with her for a long time that night. Only when the sun rose the next day did she return to her dormitory.

"Miss Sam!"

When she heard someone calling her, Emily, who was about to knock on the door, turned around.

Sure enough, it was the foreign woman who received her yesterday. It might because of her dark skin, her teeth looked white and clean when she smiled. Emily was puzzled and asked, "What's the matter?"

"Nothing! I just wanted to say thank you. When your husband went to throw garbage downstairs, he saw that I could not lift the heavy delivery and helped me carry it up here!" She smiled more friendly than yesterday.

"My husband?" Emily was shocked, thinking that she might have misheard.

"Yes!" The foreign woman nodded. "He is a tall and handsome young man surnamed Chin, and he is a doctor from your country. He said that he is your husband, and I just saw him come back to your dormitory!"
