Purchased A Mr. Right novel Chapter 911

"Hah!" Emily laughed so happily that she almost fell over.

After they chatted for a while, Emily went to the office of the editor-in-chief. After that, they had lunch together.

Originally, Tina had a lot more to say to her and wanted to continue to stay with her. However, she had no choice but to be taken away by Wilson, who drove here, because she had a delivery check-up. They agreed to meet again in these two days.

After leaving the TV station in the afternoon, Emily went to the place where air tickets were sold nearby.

She wanted to check if there were any flights flying to Country S in the next few days. Unexpectedly, she did not book the tickets successfully. There were two flights that were temporarily canceled. If she took the connecting plane in another city, it would be too troublesome. The staff from Ticketing Counter suggested that she could come here in a few days.

There was no way to go back immediately. It was easy to ask for a few more days off from work, but she thought that she should at least call Calvin and tell him about the situation here.

Emily came out of the airport and called Calvin.

However, it was strange that his phone was switched off.

Emily felt a little puzzled. It was rare for Calvin to turn off his phone. Usually, his cell phone was on all day. Even if he couldn't have his phone on him because of meetings or trainings, he would put his mobile phone in the dormitory and mute it. In this way, he could call back the caller later.

She called again, and it still reminded her that his phone was switched off.

Emily shrugged her shoulders. She could only tell him after he turned on the phone.

When she was ready to walk to the roadside to stop the taxi, a tall figure came out of the office building. The military boots made a steady and powerful sound.

Emily was surprised. "Adam?"

In fact, Adam was wearing casual clothes, but he was still wearing his military boots. It seemed that this habit had never changed. Because of that praise, he always wore them.

It seemed that he was here to handle something, because he still had a file bag under his armpit.

"Sis?" Adam was surprised to see her.

Hearing the way he addressed her, Emily felt a little uncomfortable. "I can't be considered your sister-in-law now..."

Adam said in a low voice, "It doesn't matter!"

After glancing the direction behind her, he asked, "You're alone?"

"Yes!" Emily nodded.

Hearing this, Adam said directly, "Where will you go?

I can drive you there."

Emily nodded. She didn't know if it was because of his powerful momentum as a soldier or not, but when he gave the order, she followed him almost subconsciously and got into the jeep.

After a second thought, she changed her mind. Her fiance, Calvin, was also a soldier, but he was very gentle, totally different from Adam. She was involuntarily nervous in front of Adam, and his naturally imposing manner should cause it.

However, besides this, Emily got into the jeep for another reason. The main reason was that the scene she saw in front of the building last night had left a deep impression on her.

She opened her mouth thoughtfully. "Adam, you and Anthea..."

When Anthea's name was mentioned, Adam, who always showed a serious face, had an another expression as expected.
