Purchased A Mr. Right novel Chapter 944

It was dusk, and the sun was setting.

Emily sat in front of the dining table, holding her face with both hands and staring at the clock hanging on the wall.

When there was a sound coming from the entrance, she immediately jumped up like a wife waiting for her husband at home. She went up to him with a smile and said, "Finally, you're back, Simon!"

Simon entered the door and put the key on the shoe cabinet.

Emily put her hands on her stomach and yelled at him, "I'm starving to death. I feel like I can eat a cow! I really want to eat the chilli fish head and sweet and sour pork that you made!"

He used to cook these two dishes for her, especially when she was pregnant. At the moment, she really missed the taste, or she missed their good time in the past.

"I'm afraid I can't." Simon's lips twitched.

"Why?" Emily blinked her eyes. She thought it was because there were no ingredients at home.

Just as she was about to ask him to go shopping together, she saw him slightly leaned to his side and stretched his arms behind his straight and tall back and said, "Connie, come in!"

Emily's eyes were wide open.

A small woman walked out from his back. The woman seemed to be two or three years younger than her. Although her skin was slightly dark, she was well-featured. With her curly hair cascaded down, she could be counted beautiful.

Connie walked in and was amazed and said in sweet girlish voice, "Here we are, Dr. Chin, your home. It's so beautiful!"

Beautiful your a*s!

Emily cursed silently in her heart.

She sat in front of the dining table again with her hands holding her face. But this time, instead of staring at the clock on the wall, she fixed her eyes on the kitchen, glaring at it as if she had some feud with it.

If expression of eyes could kill people, she would have already killed everyone!

Compared to the humming kitchen ventilator, the two figures seeming to be intimate attracted more of her hatred. Simon was bending down to tie the apron for Connie. The two were smiling and cooking together.

Emily took a huge glass bottle and gulped down the water in it to quench the anger in her heart.

Half an hour later, they finally came out of the kitchen and placed the dishes on the table.

Simon pulled out the chair for Connie and then sat next to her. There was almost no gap between them. They were very close to each other. It seemed that they are doing so deliberately that they even ignored Emily opposite to them.

Connie served ribs soup to Simon, putting the bowl in front of him. She said bashfully, "Dr. Chin, how is it? This is the first time I have cooked you something. Actually, I'm a little nervous!"

"It looks good!" Simon smiled, showing happiness in his attracting eyes, and said, "Connie, you could make a good wife!"

When Emily heard this, she felt like it was a indirect condemnation.

Sweeping her eyes over every dish on the dining table, she pursed her lips and thought, "It's not a big deal. It just looks good. Who knows how it tastes!"

Besides, what's the big deal about being able to cook? She was also good at making simple dishes, such as cooking noodles or frying eggs. But she couldn't name one more dish that she could make. She felt the bitterness of failure.

"Dr. Chin, have a taste of this beef! Is it tasty?" As she was saying, Connie picked up a piece of beef with chopsticks, and then handed it directly to Simon, blushing, "Let me feed you, okay?"

"Okay." Simon did not refuse.

Seeing that he had eaten the beef cooked by her and nodded with approval, Connie's face turned redder. She couldn't hide the infatuation in her eyes. "Dr. Chin, I'm happy to let you have dishes cooked by me!"

"Is that so?" Simon raised his eyebrow.
