"Miss Sam, have some juice!"
The little boy held a glass cup in his hands and put it in front of Emily obediently.
Emily smiled and said, "Thank you!"
The little boy smiled shyly and turned back to take his mother's cup out. After putting it away, he held the pencil on his ear and went back to the room to do his homework.
"Mrs., your son is a good boy!" Emily praised.
"Yes, I am very happy!" The woman nodded with some embarrassment and chatted with her again. "Although the child is young, he is very good at taking care of people. When I was lying in the hospital, he often encouraged me to get better! To tell you the truth, I was quite scared at that time. I was afraid that I would die but my son was so young..."
Seeing that she was very agitated, Emily quickly tried to comfort her. "Mrs, you're fine now!"
"Yes!" The woman sniffed and smiled. "All in all, I should thank Dr. Chin!"
Emily said softly, "He did that because he's a doctor!"
Just like when the woman expressed her gratitude to him, he said it was his responsibility. Emily understood his sense of responsibility.
"I know. Dr. Chin is a good doctor, and he is also the lifesaver for me and my son!" The woman continued to say with a smile, "It's said that kind person is blessed by nature and will be rewarded. It's true, especially for kind people like Dr. Chin! I used to feel sorry for him having AIDS, but I didn't expect that he was misdiagnosed!"
Emily suddenly stopped drinking juice. She looked at her with wide eyes and said, "Mrs., what did you say just now?"
She seemed to have heard the word "misdiagnose"?
"He's misdiagnosed!" The woman seemed to be stunned by her reaction. She said in confusion, "Mrs. Chin, how can you not know it? Dr. Chin has no AIDS. He was misdiagnosed. Doctor Lionel personally told me when I was in the hospital. He asked me not to worry about being infected. It was really the fate. I invited Dr. Chin to perform an operation on me, and by chance, he found that there was no HIV in his body!"
Emily was at a complete loss for words.
She put the cup on the table, gritted her teeth, and looked back at the tall figure who was calling in the kitchen. Her face was pale and livid.
Back when he decided to aid Tbridge city, he left after returning to the Chin Family to inform them. His father, Bellamy, always had a bone to pick with him. However, he still made a call every half a month or so.
Just like training his soldiers, he called Simon to scold him for a few words and then hung up.
Simon put down his cell phone and touched his ear. The call this time was a bit long. He had promised his eldest brother to help him later, so he didn't want to quarrel with his stuffy father for the time being. Actually, he could not wait to find an excuse to hang up the phone.
His father was still full of energy when he scolded him. It seemed that he was very healthy!
Simon put the phone back in his pocket and walked over, only to find that the woman was alone in the room. There was still some unfinished juice on the table. He looked around but didn't see Emily, so he couldn't help asking, "Mrs., where is she?"
The woman was also a little confused when she heard this. She said blankly, "I don't know either. Mrs. Chin just suddenly stood up and went back!"
"You said she's back?" Simon was shocked.
The woman scratched her head and muttered to herself, "We've talked happily. I just said that you are a kind person, Dr. Chin. A kind person will be
rewarded. I also said that you were misdiagnosed..."
It was terrible!
