Purchased A Mr. Right novel Chapter 976

The black Cayenne stopped steadily after slowing down.

There was a coffee shop nearby. Through the glass, it could be seen that its decoration was characterized by animal elements. Seeing that he had parked the car, Emily unfastened the seat belt on her body and looked at him puzzledly. "Uh?"

Because Simon didn't move. It seemed that he didn't want to get off the car and he was still holding the steering wheel with one hand.

Simon cast a sidelong glance at her. "You go in by yourself. I'll wait for you outside. Don't worry, I'll give you this little bit of freedom!"

It made Emily confused and surprised.

Emily looked at him with amazement. "Simon, are you sure?"

"Mn." Simon pulled his lips.

Emily blinked her eyes, and still unable to believe what he just said. She tilted her head to observe his expression.

Being stared at by her, Simon gradually became uneasy. He gritted his teeth and said in a low voice, "Get off the car quickly. I will go back on my word if

you don't go now!"

Emily quickly opened the car door.

She looked back at the person on the driver's seat, who had already lit a cigarette. The white smoke sprang up. She withdrew her sight and pushed open the door of the coffee shop.

Calvin had arrived early and was sitting there waiting for her.

After all, they almost got married. Although there might not be any real love between them, they still felt a little embarrassed when they saw each other again after the cancellation of the wedding.

Emily walked over with a smile and said, "Calvin!"

Calvin lowered his head and stirred the coffee in his hand, lost in thought. When he heard the voice, he looked up with a gentle smile as usual. "Emily, here you are!"

Emily sat opposite him and said, "I thought you've already returned to Country S!"

In fact, she was a little surprised that Calvin was still in Ice city. She thought when she suddenly canceled the wedding with him and went to Tbridge City, he should have returned to Country S. When she called him, he invited her out and she agreed with pleasure.

"No, I haven't left." Calvin shook his head, and there was a flash of gloom in his eyes. Then he asked in a warm voice, "Emily, what do you want to drink? How about asking the waiter to come over and introduce you something good to drink?"

Emily said, "No, thanks. A latte like yours!"

The latte was served quickly, and the strong aroma of coffee lingered in her nose.

Emily picked it up and took a sip. Then she took the bag beside her and opened it. The phone in it was on a short vibration. She took it out and checked it. It was a message from Simon.

"It's been five minutes!"

At the sight of the words, the corner of Emily's mouth twitched.

She continued to reach into the bag and took out the small box she had prepared in advance. There was a diamond ring in the box.

Emily placed it on the table. Biting her lip, she pushed it to the other side.

Calvin frowned slightly when he saw it.

"Calvin, I'm sorry. I had to do it that day. It was really a sudden accident. I forgot to give this diamond ring back to you!" Speaking of this, Emily paused, and then said in a more sincere tone, "And, I'm really sorry. I failed to do what I promised. I didn't marry you in the end!"

Calvin held the square box and said with a bitter smile, "I have already given it to you. In fact, you don't have to give it back to me."
