Purchased A Mr. Right novel Chapter 999

In the private hospital, Simon was performing an operation.

The operating room door was slowly opened, and the patient's families waiting outside rushed in.

Simon, dressed in a green surgical gown, raised his hand to stop them from rushing to him and then took off his mask. After he announced the success of this operation, the eyes of those relatives turned red. They excitedly came to hold his hand and thanked him repeatedly, choking and sobbing.

Simon had already gotten used to it, and the only thing he should do at this time was to smile.

The patient was then pushed out, and the relatives quickly gathered around him. Only then did the hum of conversation stop. Simon took off the disposable hat on his head. It was on his head for too long, making the hair on his forehead a mass of tangles. But still, he looked handsome.

After lunch, he did two operations in a row.

Both patients were at an advanced age, so it took him much more effort to take care of them.

Especially he had to worry about any accidents that might happen during the operations. After finishing

operating, he was now moving his stiff neck.

He took two steps forward and suddenly stopped.

The pupils in his peach blossom eyes contracted slightly as he surprisingly looked toward a beautiful figure sitting on the bench not far away from him.

Emily put her hands on her knees close together, her back against the sunlight outside the window. It seemed that she had waited for him for a long time. She tilted her face slightly and was looking at him with a smile.

In his eyes, her sparkling eyes looked brighter than the sunshine behind her.

"Emily?"

Simon strode over. He took out his watch from his trouser pocket to see the time and asked in surprise, "Why did you come here? How long have you been waiting? Shouldn't you be working at the TV station at this time?"

Her eyes fixed on him as he walked up to her.

She looked up, feeling it hard to bear the surging emotions in her heart. Gently biting the corner of her mouth, she deliberately put up a bitter face and muttered with a frown, "Honey, I'm not feeling well..."

"What is ailing you?" Simon instantly became nervous. Especially, she was smiling a moment brightly before she showed such a gloomy expression. He could not help frowning, feeling nervous. Then, he gripped her shoulders and asked, "Why don't you talk? What ails you? Do you have a headache, or do you feel pain in any part of your body?"

Emily raised her head and whispered something in his ear.

Simon suddenly trembled a little.

Then, his eyes lit up like two bright stars emitting dazzling rays of light. He looked at her with disbelief. "Dear, is what you said just now true?"

"Well, more real than gold!" Emily looked shy and then handed him the pregnancy test stick that had been hidden in her palm.

Simon's Adam's apple bobbed up and down with excitement.

As he took it, his slender and jade-like fingers were trembling slightly.

There were indeed two lines within the display area.

One line was red and next to it was a light pink one. Perhaps it was because their baby was still very small, so the color was very light.

Simon was more serious than when he was on the operating table. He raised the test stick and checked it under the sun, confirming the test result again and again.

Upon seeing this, Emily felt extremely embarrassed, especially when people were passing by from time to time in the corridor.

"I did the test an hour ago!" She bit her lip, bashfully twisting her fingers. "I don't know if the result is accurate, but when I saw it, I immediately ran over to look for you!"

Simon carefully put the pregnancy test stick into his pocket and then quickly took her to the elevator.
