Pursuing My Ex Wife In Full Bloom Spring novel Chapter 117

Chapter 117

Amelia realized something was off. Why was Naomi going alone?

She also felt that something was off the other day when Charles told her about this. This was just a small event. Was a high–profile man like Scott required to come along?

It was not worth it at all for him, yet he still came.

She truly did not understand. She had a lot on her plate at that moment, so she did not have the time to think about it.

Amelia wanted to continue talking when a call came in. Her brow furrowed. She looked at her phone before saying to Naomi, “I’ll have to take a call. We’ll talk later.”

Naomi was a little nervous listening to the silence on Amelia’s end. Luckily, a call came for Amelia. She let out a sigh of relief. She was truly afraid that Amelia would continue questioning her.

Naomi was not good at diverting questions. She rarely lied.

“Okay. See you.”

The moment Amelia hung up, Naomi felt relief washing over her.

She put her phone down, thinking about how to deal with Amelia’s questions if she ever asked her again. Since she had lied to her, she had to follow through with her new story. Otherwise, she would suffer for it.

Suddenly, a figure towered over her. A pair of long legs came into her view.

Startled, she looked up.

The pants elongated the silhouette of his legs. They looked extremely nice. His shirt was tucked in with a leather belt around his pants. He had wide shoulders and a thin waist. His sleeves were rolled up, showing off his thin arms.

His shirt unbuttoned two buttons, showing off his collarbone. His Adam’s apple was extremely sexy. He was looking at her with his angular facial features.

Naomi’s mind blanked, something that happened rarely. Her mouth gaped open. She subconsciously looked at him and said, “Were you done talking?”

She stood up.

She was just about to apologize when Scott interrupted her. This surprised Naomi as she stared at him.

Scott could see the expressions in her eyes. From confusion to realization, then to self- blaming and being apologetic.
