Pursuing My Ex Wife In Full Bloom Spring novel Chapter 164

Naomi was frightened by Scott's words. She never would have thought that he would say such words. It was as if he was not the good man he always was, that he also had a darker side.

It was just like how he hugged her that night. She never would have expected it.

Naomi looked at Scott lying on the couch with his eyes closed gloomily. She carefully tucked herself back in bed, not daring to move.

She did not dare test if what he said was true. She also could not understand why he would say such a thing. However, of all the events that happened that night, she had to obey him. Otherwise, he might just surprise her yet again.

She was terrified of Scott that night.

The room quieted down, and the sensor-activated lights switched off automatically. She should have been long asleep, but she was not.

All Naomi could think of was Scott in his robe, lying on the couch. It was cold in Herland, nothing like Horizon City or Willowstown. She was worried that he would catch a cold, but she did not dare to say or do anything. She could only lie in bed and toss around, unable to go to sleep.

After what felt like forever, there was movement from the couch. Naomi opened her eyes.

The lights lit up. Scott got up from the couch and headed to the closet to get the extra covers out.

Naomi looked at him in surprise.

Scott took the covers and returned to the couch. He covered himself and shut his eyes.

Naomi could finally relax and attempt to actually sleep.

She closed her eyes and thought of everything that happened that day. Her mind was in a mess as many scenes appeared in her mind.

She was the type who would need to figure everything out before going to bed, but it was too late at night. Perhaps everything that happened that day was far beyond what she could usually accept, so when she relaxed, drowsiness quickly overwhelmed her.

Naomi fell asleep with the incidents that happened that day on her mind.
