Pursuing My Ex Wife In Full Bloom Spring novel Chapter 169

Naomi initially thought she had gotten through to him and that he understood her. She was relieved when her wheelchair was once again moving forward.

She thought that he had understood what she said. She never thought that he would say such a thing.

She was stunned. She immediately turned to look at him with her mouth gaping open. Her eyes were filled with disbelief and surprise.

How could he say such a thing?

She looked at his face, the one she had seen for the past three years. He had gotten more and more mature, yet also more mysterious. After all, she had shared the same bed with him for the past three years. She understood him well enough.

The Scott she knew and understood would never have said such a thing.

As he pushed her forward, he looked ahead as if he was walking like usual, but from Naomi's angle, she saw a different person.

His angular jawline and high cheekbones were accentuated by his darkened gaze, a shade that she had never seen before.

She did not know when his aloof and distant self was gone. She was very close to him. She could read his mind and thoughts easily.

Naomi's chest subconsciously tightened. Her heart was beating wildly, just like the night before. She had no idea what was happening to her.

She turned her head back and lowered her gaze. She furrowed her brows and pursed her lips.

Many images flooded her mind, accompanied by many thoughts.

Did he think that she had an affair during their marriage?

She did not know how he knew about Charles, but he brought it up. It was clear what was on his mind.

In his mind, he was always at work and rarely returned home. He did not know what his wife was doing at home.
