Pursuing My Ex Wife In Full Bloom Spring novel Chapter 177

Since he had already made up his mind, what else could she say to persuade him otherwise? Moreover, he would not listen to her even if she repeated herself.

Just like the night before, Scott carried her to the bathroom and waited for her until she finished washing up before carrying her to the bed and tucking her in. Then, he took his clothes and headed to the bathroom.

Naomi listened to the sound of running water coming from the bathroom. She shut her eyes.

This was the first time she regretted the choice she made, but regretting it was pointless. She only hoped that the following days would pass smoothly and she would no longer need to be in touch with him again.

Scott came out of the bathroom, drying his hair with a towel. He looked at Naomi in bed.

She was facing the window wall, under the covers. Her eyes were closed. Her long hair spread across the pillow.

She seemed to be asleep as she was not moving at all.

He looked at her closed eyes before looking at her face. Then, he threw the towel on the side of the couch before lying on the couch and covering himself with the blanket.

It was quiet all around. The sensor-activated lights had been switched off, but there were still lights from outside, so it was not fully dark.

Scott shut his eyes with his arm behind his head, not making any sounds.

Soon, it was late in the middle of the night, and the entire city had gone to bed. He opened his eyes and looked at Naomi in bed.

Naomi had already fallen asleep. She rarely had times when she could not fall asleep. Although the incidents the past two days were beyond her expectations, she came to terms with them.

She knew how to regulate her emotions. She knew how to care for herself.

Suddenly, Scott's phone vibrated. He furrowed his brow and immediately hang up the call.

The moment he hung up, he looked at Naomi in bed. From the lights outside, he could vaguely see her frowning, but her eyes were still closed.
