Pursuing My Ex Wife In Full Bloom Spring novel Chapter 212

The phone was prominently placed on the coffee table. A call had come in.

Naomi had a look at it before looking at the bathroom. The water was still running, so Scott must not have heard it.

Even if he heard it, he would not come out immediately.

Naomi took her briefcase and sat in front of the table. She still had some time.

Scott had finished washing up and came out of the bathroom. The phone on the coffee table was no longer ringing. He looked at Naomi, who was working by the window.

A light rain was going on outside the window. It covered the entire city in a blurry fog.

The lights in the room were switched on. Naomi was on a chair as she flipped through documents, reading and notating seriously.

She was focused on work, not letting the gloomy weather—or anything else—affect her. She did what she had to do.

He looked at her for a long time before heading into the walk-in closet.

Both their clothes were there. He took a shirt and got dressed in front of a mirror, buttoning his shirt up button by button.

The room was extremely quiet; only the pitter-patter on the window could be heard.

After getting dressed, Scott put on his watch. He looked extremely smart in his suit.

He headed out of the walk-in closet to grab his phone on the coffee table. As he picked his phone up, the screen lit up. He saw a missed call and an unread message on the screen.

He lowered his gaze and looked at the person who called him and sent him a message. Connor Grant.

Scott tapped into the message.

[Connor: I'm in Herland. When are you free? Let's meet up.]

Scott typed in a short reply and sent the message. He then looked at Naomi, who was still in her chair working.

She did not notice that he had come out of the bathroom, so engrossed in her work that she blocked out everything around her.

Scott placed the phone in his pocket and walked over to her. "Let's have breakfast."
