Pursuing My Ex Wife In Full Bloom Spring novel Chapter 240

Dylan knew exactly what Scott meant by 'take good care of Naomi'. He wanted him to keep an eye out for Olivia, who would probably try to do something to Naomi.

He had promised Scott he would not let Naomi out of his sight, not even for a second.

However, when he messaged Naomi that morning, she told him she was already on her way to the project site.

Dylan panicked and had to rush over as soon as possible, lest something happen to Naomi in his absence.

That was why they had arrived ten minutes earlier than stipulated.

Everyone could see Naomi the moment the car pulled up next to the project site. Naomi was slender and carried herself with such elegance that she was easily recognizable, even amidst a crowd.

Dylan immediately sprinted over to her side. "What are you doing here so early, Naomi? You've beaten us all to it."

Naomi was here simply to check out the progress of the project. When she arrived, the stage and the marquee had already been set up. Someone had already begun to put up decorations for the grand opening.

Naomi was rather surprised by the progress. She could not believe that things had progressed so quickly within a couple of weeks. She was so intrigued by it that she did not even notice that Dylan had arrived. She froze when she heard his voice and turned around, only to be stunned that everyone else was there too.

Naomi smiled. "I woke up earlier than usual, so I decided to come by."

When Scott was still around, she would always have to wait for him to return from his run before they could set off together. Now that she did not have to do that anymore, she could leave the hotel room earlier than usual and come by herself.

Dylan gave her a meaningful smile when he heard this. "Are you having trouble sleeping because Scott left, Naomi? You don't have to lie to me."

Although he knew the truth about their relationship, Dylan still could not help teasing Naomi at every chance he got, especially since Scott was not around anymore to scold him.
