Pursuing My Ex Wife In Full Bloom Spring novel Chapter 322

Charles snapped back to reality. Subconsciously, his gaze met hers, capturing the playful spark in Amelia's eyes. It was then that he realized how he looked.

Charles, feeling suddenly embarrassed, retracted his gaze and clenched his fist against his lips, clearing his throat gently.

"Her current situation is stable," he said.

Trying to regain composure, he could not afford any more confusion. Otherwise, Naomi might be alarmed. Offering a chair to Charles, Naomi said, "Sit, Charles, there's a chair."

Charles replied, "It's alright, I'm fine standing."

Naomi pouted. "Charles, just sit."

With that, she went to pour a glass of water for Charles. He accepted it with a nod, saying, "Thank you."

"You're welcome, Charles."

Naomi brought a chair from the dining table and sat on the other side. Charles observed silently, settling into his seat. Turning to Amelia, he inquired, "How do you feel?"

Amelia raised her hand. "Charles, look at me, what do you think?"

Laughing, Charles replied, "I'd say your recovery looks good."

"Well, there you have it. I've always had a remarkable recovery ability. I'll be fine soon, so don't worry about me."

Amelia exuded confidence, but Naomi could not help but caution, "No matter how good your recovery is, you still need to take care of yourself. If you don't take care of your health, it won't last in the long run."

Her remark pointed to Amelia's tendency to prioritize work over her own well-being. A habit that, if continued, would not bode well for her health.
