Naomi shook her head and said, “No need. Go on, Mom. 

“Alright, I’ll be back soon. If anything comes up midway, just call the nurse.” 

“I know. You can relax.” 

Naomi was perfectly fine, save for her hand injury. 

The assured Donna quickly left with Naomi’s phone to avoid any unexpected situations, making it easier for her to make a call. 

Swiftly, the door closed, and the room fell silent. 

Naomi gazed at the rich night sky as she reflected on the events of the past few days. It felt so surreal.
