Leah and Olivia looked at Naomi as well as Charles, who stood beside Naomi carrying something. Their expressions were a mix of astonishment, curiosity, and inquiry. 

They had no idea that Charles and Naomi were together, let alone that Charles had been by Naomi’s side during this period. Even when Charles and Naomi stood together, they did not connect the two 

until this moment. 

As they looked at what Charles was carrying, similar to what Dean and Donna often carried, they 

realized that Charles was with Naomi. 

The surprise in Leah’s eyes surpassed all others. She never expected Charles to appear here, let alone 

with Naomi. 

Olivia slowly swept her gaze across Charles, Naomi, and then to Dean and Donna. Her eyes swept back. and forth between the four individuals until the elevator stopped on the first floor. 

Donna had been angry the moment she saw Olivia, and she merely held back her irritation. When the elevator doors opened, she immediately took Naomi out. 

However, a strong force suddenly hit them from behind, pushing Naomi and Donna away. Naomi’s body lurched toward Charles, and he reacted quickly, immediately holding her and frowning at the person who walked out quickly. 

Sasha deliberately bumped into them. 

Charles‘ brow furrowed. 

Naomi was hit by this collision on the hand. In an instant, her face went slightly pale, and her eyebrows furrowed. Still, she did not make a sound. She just watched the person walking out quickly. 

Sasha walked fast as though upset with someone. In no time, she reached the lobby. 

Leah realized what happened and hurriedly apologized to Naomi and Donna. “I’m sorry, The child is throwing a tantrum with me.”

Donna was supported by Dean, but her first reaction was to look at Naomi. Seeing Naomi safe in Charles‘ arms, she felt a bit relieved. 

She was indeed irked when she saw Sasha walking away, and she was close to rebuking the girl. When she heard Leah’s sincere apology, however, she stopped. 

Donna’s expression eased slightly, and she refrained from her scolding. “It’s okay, just keep an eye 

on the child.” 

“Alright. I’m truly sorry.” Apologizing once more, Leah hurriedly chased after Sasha. “Sasha, wait for 

me!” 

Olivia paid no attention to Leah and Sasha. Instead, she watched as Charles held Naomi’s hand. Her

gaze shifted between the two, finally seeming to confirm something. A relieved smile appeared on her 

face. 

So, that was it. She was finally at ease. 

Olivia followed them out. 

Donna looked at the departing figures, displeased. “What a jinx. Every time she shows up, Naomi gets hurt!” 

Considering Charles was still present, Dean said, “Let it go.” 

He then looked at Naomi. “Naomi, are you okay?”
