Chapter Six: My one and only

Back to the present...

CHARLOTTE...

"Stop being so stubborn, Augustus." I heard his friend saying again. Opening my eyes, I realised, I am still in the same place, in Augustus's private room for rest while he is outside and one of his whoever friends trying to convince him to leave me.

"I can introduce you to powerful she-wolves, you can..."

He continued but his words are not crossing my mind anymore as rage took all the place. My blood rushed to my head.

'Kill that bustard.' A strange and enraged whisper echoed in my head. Trying to provoke me without existing. It felt like a certain power is forcing to take control over me, to come out from me.

Suddenly, I didn't know what came over me. I stood up and rushed out of the private lounge and before I know it, I was standing in his office, glaring at that man who is trying to excite my mate to leave me.

"How dare you?" I growled at the man at top of my lung. It was me who shouted but it was more that came out of my head, not mine.

Oh, so much confusion!

However, that worked as both men looked at me. Especially that unwanted bustard.

I took my step forward more and kept my eyes on the guest.

"Didn't he just say, he Doesn't want to leave me? Then who the fuck are you to ask him?"

His eyes dropped down on me. Pervert, he is. I could sense those eyes that were taking me in. I wanted to rip those eyes apart but before that, I wanted to cut off his tongue.

Yet, I did none of that. Changing my track, I turned my all focus to those emerald-green eyes, staring at me deeply.

Half surprised, half amused. Nonetheless, I liked those eyes on me and I want to keep it that way.

"He wants me only. I know, he won't consider anyone else but me, nor I will allow any strange wolf to step between us."

I am now standing before him, still, our eyes were fixated on each other. Unlike a second ago, his eyes are blank.

"This man is only mine. Only I belong to him." I said, not realising how soft my tone sounded.

Tiptoeing, I got a hold of his collar and pulled him down to my mouth before sealing his sexy lips with mine.

His dark Mocha scent is so delicious, started wracking my senses and I so wished to get captured in his strong arms and pull into a deep kiss, which he is not giving.

I could feel his friend's eyes strangely watching us, yet I don't care about that unwanted thing at this moment.

The only thing I wanted is his strong arms to wrap around me.

I started moving my lips on his, trying to find a way in. I want his desperation to consume me in front of the world and let me know that what I have said is the truth. He only wants me.

But, he didn't for a long time.

When he didn't move, disappointment started ensuing me and suddenly, I felt a touch on my lower back and in the next second, I was in his secure arms, just the way I wanted...

For a particular moment, everything around me turned silent. I only could sense her words and feel her action without understanding them.

Two years... Two freaking years and I only wanted this woman in my life since she turned out my mate.
