Rekindling Her Affection (Sabrina and Nelson) novel Chapter 90

After Sabrina returned home, she saw Shannon's message that Nelson needed two days to mull it over.

Reading this message, she felt grateful toward her mother-in-law.

Shannon did her best to support Sabrina's decision to divorce, just like when she was desperate to marry Nelson.

"Thank you, Shannon," Sabrina said.

Shannon replied immediately, "You're welcome, Sabrina."

Sabrina smiled as she saw the message.

Shannon meant it when she said that even if Sabrina couldn't be her daughter-in-law, she would still treat her like a family.

That night, Sabrina had trouble sleeping.

She felt that Nelson would agree to the divorce this time.

After all, with Shannon getting involved in this matter, there was no reason not to sign the papers.

He never truly loved her anyway.

He wouldn't have protected Pamela so much if he had even the slightest bit of affection for her.

At the thought of this, Sabrina calmed down. Either she was extremely disappointed in him, or she had moved on.

Although Nelson didn't like her, someone else did.

Gerlad treated her like she was a gem.

She decided that after the divorce, she wanted to have a serious relationship with him.

She felt that two days would pass quickly.

However, the next evening, something happened.

Abigail invited Sabrina for dinner.

"The emerald pedant you asked me to keep an eye on was posted online by an emerald shop owner," Abigail said.

This news surprised Sabrina.

She was determined to find the emerald pendant because it was a token of love from Nelson. She thought finding it would help rekindle their feelings.

But now, her desire to find it had nothing to do with him.

After all, possessions she thought were lost in the fire were resurfacing one by one.

Her father's brooch was perfectly intact, proving it was taken before the fire.

She wondered if the emerald pendant might've been taken as well.

"Try to buy it. I want to see if there are any signs of damage on it," Sabrina said.

Sabrina suspected Pamela and felt that she was involved. She wouldn't have known so much about her father's belongings if she were an outsider.

"You suspect someone else was involved in Mr. Wyatt's death?" Abigail asked.

"Yes," Sabrina responded.

Her intuition told her that Pamela was involved, though she had no evidence.
