“Alright, then.”
Yanina reminded, “Be careful, alright?”
After a brief discussion, they went their separate ways and returned to their own rooms.
The airship remained on its course.
In the blink of an eye, six months passed. The airship had left the high seas and was now heading in the direction of Sangria.
As Yanina did not wish to risk her life, she decided against continuing on the journey. Hence, she hopped off the airship halfway before they reached their destination.
The Blademaster of Mount Grinch who was controlling the steering wheel steered the airship forward in the direction of Korinth as they had to traverse Korinth to reach the Barren Wasteland.
Soon, the airship was in the skies of Korinth. After traversing the country, they headed in the direction of the Barren Wasteland.
Another six months passed.
Six months later, the airship arrived at a desolate area.
The airship stopped. On the deck stood three people—an elderly man and two youngsters.
The Blademaster of Mount Grinch pointed straight ahead and said, “We’re now approaching the Barren Wasteland. Rumors say that the place is extremely huge. However, since I’ve never been here before, I have no idea how huge it truly is.”
James looked straight ahead.
Before him was a plain with no end in sight. The plain was devoid of any plants, and the ground was pitted and uneven. In the sky, dark clouds gathered above the horizon, causing the area to seem more oppressive and desolate than before.
Furrowing his eyebrows, Walganus said, “The Barren Wasteland is too big. How are we supposed to find the Imperial Jade Seal here? Besides, why would the Imperial Jade Seal be here in the first place?”
James shrugged and said, “How would I know?”
